PKL Auction 2025: Arjun Deshwal goes to Tamil Thalaivas for INR 1.405 crore
Indian raider Arjun Deshwal was bought for Rs. 1.405 crore by Tamil Thalaivas on Saturday during the Pro Kabaddi League Auction 2025 in Mumbai. For his relentless raiding and superb accuracy, Arjun has been dubbed as the 'Raid-machine'. The 25-year-old from Basea, Uttar Pradesh, was the MVP in season 9, when he took Jaipur Pink Panthers to their second PKL title. With 1174 raid points from 114 matches, Deshwal has cemented himself as one of the iconic raiders in the league's history. Despite scoring 230 points at a healthy average of 9.86 Panthers decided to release him ahead of the auction, which raised several eyebrows. He joins another star raider, India captain Pawan Sehrawat, in the Thalaivas raiding unit, with Pawan being roped in for under INR 60 Lakh during the auction.

Indian allrounder Ankit Jaglan was retained by Patna Pirates for Rs. 1.573 crore on Saturday during the Pro Kabaddi League Auction 2025 in Mumbai. A long-drawn bidding war involving multiple franchises including Puneri Paltan, U Mumba, Jaipur Pink Panthers and Haryana Steelers eventually went back to the Pirates. Ankit had a stellar season with Patna last year and finished as the league's second best defender in 2024. He amassed 79 tackle points in 25 matches and was crucial in Patna's scintillating march to the final.

PKL Auction 2025: Ashu Malik retained by Dabang Delhi for two seasons at INR 1.90 crore
Indian raider Ashu Malik was bought for Rs. 1.90 crore by Dabang Delhi on Saturday after the side used its two-season FBM (Final Bid Match) card during the Pro Kabaddi League Auction 2025 in Mumbai. Over the last two seasons of PKL, Ashu Malik has emerged as the most consistent raiders of the league. The 23-year-old from Haryana has led Dabang Delhi in the last two season from the front. With 730 raid points at an average of 8.02 points per match, alongside astute leadership skills. He won the best raider of the season award in PKL 10.

PKL Auction 2025: Pawan Sehrawat sold to Tamil Thalaivas for 59.5 lakhs
Indian skipper Pawan Kumar Sehrawat was bought for Rs. 59.5 lakhs crore by Tamil Thalaivas on Thursday during the Pro Kabaddi League Auction 2025 in Mumbai. In season 10's auction, Sehrawat became the most expensive player in the history of the PKL when Telugu Titans bought him for Rs. 2.605 crore. The India captain ended the PKL 10 season with the third-most raid points (202), but Titans finished at the bottom of the table with 21 points and failed to make the playoffs. Last season, Titans used its FBM (Final Bid Match) card to retain the all-rounder for 1.725 crore.
