Out of 12,680 students who appeared for the examination, 12,405 passed, while 275 failed. Notably, 7,671 students secured first division, 4,324 achieved second division, and 410 received third division. This outstanding performance is credited to renewed administrative efforts and focused educational initiatives, said officials.
In 2022, former DC Aditya Ranjan launched Project Rail and Project Impact to improve the performance of students and the overall condition of govt schools.
Project Rail aimed at personalized support for each student, while Project Impact worked towards infrastructural and systemic school improvements. These efforts led to Koderma topping the board results in both 2022 and 2023.
However, after the transfer of Ranjan in 2024, the lack of monitoring led to a decline, placing the district at fifth position in 2024. Taking note of this, the district administration and education department reactivated their efforts.
Under the leadership of DC Megha Bhardwaj, school-wise responsibilities were assigned to officials, and renewed focus was placed on students' academic development.
