Justin Allgaier returns to Springfield for Prospect League All-Star game
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) – NASCAR driver Justin Allgaier was back in Springfield on Tuesday for a summer baseball game.
Algaier, who was born in Springfield and grew up in Riverton, was set to throw out the first pitch at Tuesday's Prospect League All-Star Game.
The game was rained out, but Algaier joined WCIA News at 6 for a live interview.
The game, before weather stopped it, was set to feature a pair of Springfield natives in Charlie Linderman and Louie Bartletti.
The hosting Springfield Lucky Horshoes have not indicated whether or not the game will be rescheduled.
