Sai Kumar's ‘Chowkidar' tugs heartstrings with emotional anthem ‘Naanna'
Dialogue King Sai Kumar, known for his intense performances and commanding voice, is riding high on the success of his recent films including Committee Kurrollu, Lucky Bhaskar, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, and Mercy Killing—all of which received accolades, including the prestigious Gaddar Awards. Now, the veteran actor is back with a powerful role in his upcoming bilingual project Chowkidar, being made in Telugu and Kannada. Directed by Chandrashekhar Bandiyappa and produced by Dr. Kallahalli Chandra Shekhar under VS Entertainments, the film also stars Pruthvi Ambaar and Dhanya Ramya Kumar in lead roles. The makers recently unveiled the emotionally stirring song 'Naanna,' which pays tribute to fatherhood. Sung soulfully by Vijay Prakash, composed by Sachin Basrur, and penned by lyricist Santhosh Venky, the song highlights a father's unwavering love, strength, and sacrifices. The track is already resonating with audiences for its moving portrayal of paternal bonds. Rocking Star Yash's mother, Smt. Pushpa Arunkumar, has made a grand entry into the world of cinema with the launch of her production banner, PA Productions. Inspired by the legacy of Parvathamma Rajkumar—wife of legendary Kannada actor Dr. Rajkumar—Pushpa aims to support emerging talent in the industry through her new venture. Her debut production, Kothalavadi, stars Pruthvi Ambaar in the lead and is written and directed by the promising filmmaker Sriraj. Set in the village of Kothalavadi in Gundlupet Taluk, Chamarajanagar, the film aims to portray a rooted, realistic narrative with strong commercial appeal. The first look poster released last month was met with positive feedback, and the excitement has only grown with the release of the teaser. The gripping 90-second teaser offers a glimpse into the film's intense world, showcasing Pruthvi Ambaar's rugged avatar and impactful performance. Yash's mother ventures into production; first film ‘Kothalavadi' launched
KGF star Yash's mother Pushpa Arunkumar has begun a production house. Named PA Productions, the banner is set to produce its maiden project. On April 30, 2025 (Wednesday), the first movie under the banner will be Kothalavadi. The movie will star Pruthvi Ambaar of Dia fame in the lead role.
