The event will also be addressed by senior bureaucrats, including Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Ministry of Education, who will guide and motivate the new officers.
Space Talk
Minister of State (independent charge) for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh used humour to make his point amid protests by Opposition MPs during a special discussion in the Lok Sabha Monday on 'India's first astronaut aboard the ISS and critical role of the space programme for Viksit Bharat by 2047'. As Singh, who also oversees the Department of Space, initiated the discussion, few Opposition MPs gathered in the Well of the House, holding placards in Singh's line of vision. 'Iss samay main antriksh mai khada hun, yeh poster mere tak pahuchega nahi (I am standing in space at the moment, your poster can't reach me),' the minister joked, drawing laughter from treasury benches.
