Bus services resume through Vadakadu post caste violence
Pudukottai: Bus services resumed in Vadakadu village in Pudukottai after alleged caste based violence struck the area on Monday night, leaving 20 services through the area, which were stopped on Tuesday, resumed on Wednesday. In the absence of buses passing through the area, students were finding it difficult to attend colleges. However, bus services resumed and shops that were closed in the wake of violence also started functioning as a sense of calm prevailed in the may be recalled that violence gripped Vadakadu village in Pudukottai after a clash broke out between youths from two communities—most backward class (MBC) and scheduled caste (SC).
