Bodies of woman, toddler found floating near Pulau Ketam jetty

PETALING JAYA : The bodies of a woman and her three-year-old daughter were found floating near the Pulau Ketam jetty in Klang this morning.
Klang Selatan deputy police chief Kamal Ariffin Aman Shah said members of the public discovered the bodies in front of the jetty at about 7.30am.
He said a bag containing documents belonging to both victims was found near the area.
Police and staff from the Pulau Ketam health clinic arrived at the scene and confirmed that the woman and the child were dead, Bernama quoted Kamal as saying.
He said a preliminary examination did not find any injuries on the bodies, which were sent to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang for a post-mortem.
'No criminal elements have been determined, and police have opened a sudden death report for further investigation,' he said.
