VIPups: Perth dogs ditch the kennel in favour of luxury stay
The dog days are over as Perth pooch owners can now treat their furry friends to a luxury experience fit for a good boy.
To celebrate International Dog Day, dog owners who want a luxury night away but not at the expense of leaving behind their four-legged partner can now ditch the kennel and enjoy the suite-life with Pup Yeah! at QT Hotels.
From August 26 the hotel will offer premium services, allowing man's best friend to spend a night living the designer dog life.
Featuring pet-appointed rooms prepped for belly rubs and butler services, four-legged friends can experience a proper pampering.
QT Perth general manager Steven James said the hotel has been dog friendly since 2020, but they are now stepping it up for a catered luxury experience with added perks. 'Pup Yeah! is designed as a designer dog sleepover that mirrors QT's playful luxury for humans, right down to the details like memory-foam beds and grooming amenities,' he said.
'Rooms are prepped with a CUB bed featuring orthopaedic memory foam, premium smith&burton grooming essentials, and hand-baked human-grade treats from St Argo.'
The designer stay is open to all dogs, no matter their shape or size, with Mr James saying the menu is what gets tails-wagging.
'Removing all size and weight restrictions has broadened appeal... guests love not leaving their furry plus-one behind,' he said.
'They call out the in-room dining as a highlight... the pup menu includes indulgences like Steak Tartare and Puppaccinos.' QT Hotels & Resorts is unleashing the ultimate indulgence for your furry plus-one with Pup Yeah! a luxury dog-friendly stay for pampered pooches of any size. Credit: QT Hotel
Promising 'no more ruffing it', the luxury experience provides premium grooming essentials and hand-baked treats upon arrival.
Owners will have the choice of taking their pooches out for a walk or they can dump their pets off to take a break.
'Add the Strut Your Pup digital maps for the best local strolls, cafés, and photo ops, and it feels like a true QT experience, just with four paws in tow,' Mr James said.
'If needed, a Director of Chaos can step in for a quick stroll.'
