Apoorva Mukhija REACTS to her rumoured link up with Purav Jha: 'There are 82,000 edits of us... And it's only going to get worse...'

As The Traitors inches closer to its nail-biting finale, the spotlight isn't just on the game's betrayals and twists—but also on a certain buzzworthy bond that's captured fans' hearts. Amid tasks, torch snuffs, and strategy, content creators Apoorva Mukhija and Purav Jha have sparked dating rumours with their visible on-screen chemistry. Now, Apoorva has finally broken her silence—adding fuel to the fire in the most playful way possible. At around the 13:20 mark, Apoorva pointed out how the show's edit made it seem like Elnaaz was trying to approach Purav, but he walked away. Responding to this, Elnaaz remarked that Purav never really spoke to her during the show. She then added that Purav had mentioned in one of his videos that he couldn't make eye contact with Elnaaz. She playfully asked Elnaaz if she had seen the fan-made love edits featuring her and Purav, hinting at the growing online chatter around their chemistry. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Trading CFD dengan Teknologi dan Kecepatan Lebih Baik IC Markets Mendaftar Undo Elnaaz chimed in, pointing out that there's actually a video featuring Apoorva and Purav, not her. Responding with her signature wit, Apoorva—aka Rebel Kid—joked, 'There are 82,000 edits of me and Purav. And it's only going to get worse after this drop," acknowledging the frenzy their on-screen chemistry has sparked among fans. Apoorva went on to discuss an incident from episode 9 of The Traitors. She described a task where three marshals were burning behind the contestants, and host Karan Johar instructed them to extinguish the torch of the person they trusted the least. Apoorva criticized the decisions made during the task, pointing out that Uorfi, Harsh, and Jasmin didn't approach the task logically. She felt that the more strategic players were sidelined, while the less thoughtful contestants were assumed to be innocent, leading to flawed guesses about who the real traitor was. Apoorva further shared that in the task, all three marshals chose to extinguish her torch first, marking her as the least trustworthy contestant. She noted the irony, calling it a full-circle moment from episode 1 to episode 9. She also mentioned being given a dagger and asked to hand it to the person she trusted the most—whose vote would then carry double weight in the game. Interrupting Apoorva, Elnaaz pointed out the twist in her game journey—highlighting how Apoorva handed the dagger to Purav. She noted the irony that from episode 2, where Apoorva successfully identified and eliminated a traitor, she ended up placing her trust in one by episode 9. In the same conversation, Elnaaz opened up about her long discussions with Purav inside the secret tower. She revealed that while viewers only saw brief 5 to 15-minute segments, those scenes were actually edited down from nearly two hours of intense interaction. During those sessions, she and Purav often disagreed, were physically exhausted, irritated, and had to remain quiet to avoid being overheard by the other contestants. She emphasized how challenging it was, as they rarely reached a unanimous decision quickly.

‘There Are 82,000 Edits': Apoorva Mukhija On Her Rumoured Link Up With Purav Jha

Last Updated: Though Apoorva Mukhija and Purav Jha have remained tight-lipped about the rumours, there are ample fan-made love edit videos featuring them. Karan Johar hosted reality show, The Traitors, is inching closer to its finale. Premiering on Prime Video, the thriller series is buzzing with intriguing drama, unexpected evictions and jaw-dropping fights to unfold. Besides this, what eagle-eyed fans didn't miss to notice was some brewing chemistry between content creator Apoorva Mukhija and Purav Jha. Though the two have remained tight-lipped about the rumours, there are ample fan-made love edit videos featuring Purav and Apoorva. Now, the content creator has reacted to the same during her YouTube video with co-contestant Elnaaz Norouzi. At the timestamp of 13:20 minutes, Apoorva is heard saying, 'In the edit, we see you try and approach Purav and you try talking to him. But he just leaves." To this, Elnaaz said, 'He never used to talk to me." But then Elnaaz said that there is one video that features Apoorva and Purav and the Rebel Kid states, 'There are 82,000 edits of me and Purav. And it's only going to get worse after this drop." She then elaborates on an incident in episode 9 of the show. 'So basically, in episode nine, there is a task where three marshals are burning behind us. And Karan Johar tells people that whoever they trust the least, they have to go and extinguish their maashal. Okay. So, of course, it's Uorfi and the gang, right? Uorfi, Harsh and Jasmin – none of them are using their brains. It means I am doing it, but they were also not using their brains. Everyone has made the dumb people innocent to guess who the traitor is." 'Anyway, I am the first person who all three marshals are doused off. So I am the least trustworthy. It's a full circle. Episode 1 and Episode 9 are supposed to be a full circle. They just gave me a dagger, and they told me to hand it over to the one whom I trust the most. And whoever they vote for will be counted as two," she added. Interrupting Apoorva, Elnaaz reacted, 'And you gave the dagger to Purav? From episode 2, where she has removed the traitor, to episode nine, where she has given her trust to the traitor." In the same conversation, Elnaaz also talked about her hour-long discussion with Purav in the secret tower. 'See me and Purav, in that secret tower, we used to spend hours and hours. The 5-minute, 10-minute and 15-minute edits that you see of the secret tower are cut from 2 hours of us talking, being tired, irritated with each other, soaking in those cloaks because it was hot, and having to be quiet so that you innocents don't hear us. It took us hours because I and Purav never came to the same decision. Coming to The Traitors, the latest episodes of the show saw the journey of five contestants coming to an end. They were Elnaaz Norouzi, Janvee Gaur, Jannat Zubair, Sufi Motiwala, and Anshula Kapoor. Shot at the sumptuous and majestic Hotel Suryagarh in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer, the Karan Johar-hosted show is nearing its grand finale. The makers will be dropping the last episode on July 3 at 8:00 PM on Prime Video. While the show opened with 20 contestants, the contestants who made it to the final episode of The Traitors Season 1 to clinch the prize money are Harsh Gujral, Jasmin Bhasin, Purav Jha, Apoorva Mukhija, aka The Rebel Kid, Nikita Luther, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Uorfi Javed.
