Tirumala: Grand floral palanquin procession of Sri Malayappa swamy

Tirumala, July 16 (UNI) On the auspicious occasion of Salakatla Anivara Asthanam, the sacred Pushpa Pallaki Seva was conducted in a grand manner at the Tirumala temple on Wednesday evening.
Sri Malayappa Swamy, flanked by His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, graced the devotees by parading along the four Mada Streets of the temple town, seated majestically on a beautifully decorated palanquin made entirely of various types of fragrant and colourful flowers.
TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Board Member Panabaka Lakshmi, Additional EO C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary, and other temple officials participated in this spiritually vibrant event.

NIRM signs MoU with Siby Mining on "controlled blasting" projects

Hyderabad, July 16 (UNI) In a strategic move to advance controlled blasting technologies in mining and infrastructure sectors, Hyderabad based Siby Mining and Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. and the National Institute of Rock Mechanics (NIRM), an autonomous Research Institute under the Ministry of Mines, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on future projects across India.
