#SHOWBIZ: Andi Arsyil: Puteri Sarah and I are strictly professional
KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesian actor Andi Arsyil, 37, continues to refute claims of a romantic involvement with popular actress Puteri Sarah Liyana, maintaining their association is purely professional. Andi emphasised his aversion to sensationalism, explaining that his appearances with Puteri Sarah on social media live broadcasts are strictly work-related, stemming from their business partnership. "In my nearly 18 years in the entertainment industry, I've always avoided cheap gimmicks. "My focus is on quality work, which speaks for itself. People can discern genuine efforts from artificial ones. "I adhere to that principle," Andi told BH Online. "As the saying goes, 'What you sow is what you reap.' Currently, my relationship with Puteri Sarah is that of business partners. "We maintain a professional working dynamic. Personally, I hold Puteri Sarah in high regard. "Despite some public perceptions, I find her to be a very good person." Andi acknowledged that their two-year working relationship has fostered a comfortable rapport. Their collaborations extend beyond skincare products to include a hijab business. He reiterated that their social media presence serves primarily to promote these ventures. "I recognise the inherent risks in this industry. Before working with Puteri Sarah, I was often linked to other women, as was she with other men. "Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but ultimately, our paths are divinely ordained. "I remain hopeful for the best outcome. If something isn't ideal, I'll strive to improve it," he said. Andi added, "The reason for our frequent live broadcasts is our shared objective: to educate consumers." "Many purchase skincare products without fully understanding their benefits or quality. "Our aim, our shared vision, is to provide valuable information, and thankfully, we can do so without resorting to gimmicks," Andi explained. "During these sessions, I often steer the conversation away from irrelevant personal questions, focusing instead on sharing useful insights." Recounting their initial encounter, Andi revealed that Puteri Sarah contacted him after using his products. "I've been involved in business in Indonesia since 2011, but my partnership with Puteri Sarah began in 2023. She reached out after experiencing positive results with my products, expressing interest in introducing them to the Malaysian market." "Puteri Sarah's satisfaction with the products led to our collaboration. We met and built the business from the ground up. Our active communication began in November 2023, following her initial contact in June 2023," he said.

KUALA LUMPUR: Former spouses must let go of grudges, discard feelings of vengeance and maintain a good relationship for the sake of their children. Actress Puteri Sarah Liyana, 40, has shared this tip with divorcees who want to make sure their children have a good relationship with both their parents. Puteri Sarah said that she and her ex-husband, director Syamsul Yusof, had agreed to maintain a good relationship for the sake of their children's future. "We did agree to be good friends for the sake of the children because we want to see them happy. "If people ask, is it difficult for me to let go of grudges? For me, just let go, and make yourself happy," she said when met at a Hari Raya Aidilfitri open house at a leading hotel in the federal capital yesterday. When asked how she divided her time between her acting career, business and children after becoming a single mother, Puteri Sarah said that she received great advice and help from her family members, including her former in-laws, Datuk Yusof Haslam and Datin Patimah Ismail. "My relationship with Syamsul has been trouble-free after our divorce. "Syamsul agrees to meet the children every week. My family members and my in-laws, also play a role in this," she said. Puteri Sarah said that she was slowing down her acting to focus on her business. "I'm focusing more on my business now because I want to spend more time with my children. "I'll get the children ready before they go to school and then I'll go to the office. "And when I come back from the office, I'll stay with the children at home," she said. Puteri Sarah and Syamsul were married on March 8, 2014 and were blessed with two children, Syaikhul Islam, 7, and Sumayyah, 5. However, the couple were divorced on June 14, 2023.

Puteri Sarah Liyana and Syamsul Yusof celebrate Eid together despite no longer together
3 Apr - Two years after they ended their marriage, it looks like Puteri Sarah Liyana and Syamsul Yusof are cordial enough to finally celebrate Eid together. Syamsul's brother and director Syafiq Yusof recently attracted everybody's attention after he posted a family photo on the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, that sees Syamsul uniting his two children, Syaikhul Islam and Sumayyah. Meanwhile, Puteri Sarah can be seen sitting next to her former mother-in-law, Datin Patimah Ismail in the same photo. Syamsul himself posted several photos from the family reunion on his social media, sans a photo of his ex-wife, writing, "This Eid, may my prayers be answered." On the other hand, Puteri Sarah, who are still close to her former in-laws, shared a few images of her own including one with Dato' Yusof Haslam and wife Datin Patimah, writing, "Selamat Hari Raya". In another post, she wrote, "Eid is the best time to forgive and forget. May this Eid Al-Fitr be a new beginning in our lives," to which her former mother-in-law responded, "Our love cannot be broken for the sake of our beloved grandchildren." The couple ended their marriage back in 2023 after a long divorce battle that had Puteri Sarah accusing Syamsul of cheating on her with another woman.
