Quantum Valley to boost innovation with QPiAI partnership

1 2 3 Vijayawada: The state government's ambitious Amaravati Quantum Valley project will see participation from QPiAI. As part of the National Quantum Mission, QPiAI will collaborate in establishing India's first Quantum Valley in Amaravati. The company has come forward to set up an advanced 8-qubit quantum computer for the initiative. Chief minister Chandrababu discussed the issue with QPiAI's founder Nagendra Nagarajan here on Thursday. The chief minister emphasised that the center should be established to foster innovations for public benefit and support student research. He urged QPiAI to set up a Center of Excellence in Amaravati to enable students, researchers and startups to develop quantum algorithms and applications. The chief minister explained his vision for quantum computing to enhance precision in agriculture, predict pest-related issues, and provide timely suggestions to increase farmers' income through improved agricultural output. He also advocated using quantum technology for efficient water resource management in the state.
