South Toowoomba mum robbed at knifepoint outside childcare centre

Police are searching for a man who robbed at mother at knifepoint as she was dropping her child off at daycare.
Toowoomba Detective Senior Sergeant Paul McCusker said the female driver had attended a South Toowoomba child care centre at about 6.10am on Monday when she was approached by the offender.
'He approached with a knife and demanded her car,' Sergeant McCusker said.
'The woman complied and was unharmed.'
The offender fled in the woman's white 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander wagon (Qld Rego LBG584) leading to a wide-ranging police search.
Police have called on anyone who observes the vehicle to contact police.
