The Anglesey Show returns - what to expect from the event
Held today and tomorrow, the show includes arena stunts, live Welsh music, prize-winning livestock, shearing competitions, food stalls, arts and crafts, and equestrian event.
This year's show is fronted by President Huw E Roberts, a lifelong contributor to the event who first attended as a young boy alongside his father.
Now, decades later, he's proud to represent a family deeply embedded in the show, from sheep exhibiting to site maintenance.
'It fills me with pride to see our sheep section thriving,' he said.
'My whole family plays a part – my daughter helps run it, my sons maintain it, and my wife Anne shows her Poll Dorsets. The show isn't just an event – it's a way of life.'
Show chairman Gareth P Jones shares a similar story of deep-rooted connection - 'this show has shaped my life,' he said.
'Now I get to help shape its future.'
In a major attraction for 2025, adrenaline takes centre stage as Paul Hannam's Quad Bike Stunt Show hits the main ring.
People can expect precision riding, multiple roll stunt quads, gravity-defying jumps, and trick riding - and between shows, fans can visit the interactive pit area to meet the riders and get a selfie with the stunt bikes.
Visitors to the show can also explore thousands of livestock exhibits, top-tier equine competitions, trade stalls brimming with rural crafts, supplies and tech, a craft and produce tent, fresh food and drink stalls, and live Welsh artists and bands.
And don't forget the warm community feel that makes this event truly special.
Day tickets are available, while entry is free for children younger than five years old.
'Agricultural shows are our industry's shop window,' said Mr Roberts.
'They remind us of who we are and show the public why Welsh farming matters.'
