GUBBIO v MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW

GUBBIO v MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW No rest on Easter Monday for Milan Futuro, who are ready to play on Matchday 37 (out of 38) in Serie C. The boys will be travelling to Umbria to face Gubbio on Monday 21 April at 15:00 CEST, during a positive spell at the end of the season that has begun to show what we are really capable of. Advertisement LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO Oddo's Rossoneri are in their best form of the year, right at the end of a very tiring season. Three wins in a row for the first time this campaign, and it comes at a crucial time, boosting our hopes and energy. From 3-2 against Campobasso, to 2-1 against Sestri Levante, to 1-0 against Ternana: nine points that make a huge difference, and that are hugely deserved for top performances and for the hard work shown over months without much reward. We are still in a tough position in the table, in 17th place on 33 points, so our final two games against Gubbio and Vis Pesaro are huge in reaching our goal. Both Quirini and Magni are suspended. LATEST FROM GUBBIO Fontana's squad are in eleventh place, just behind Pontedera who are ahead on goal difference. It is a key detail because, if it stayed like today, the Lupi would not go into the play-offs, even though they're fully on course for them. It will be a home game and they'll have the support of their fans, and although they score less at home than away, it will hugely boost them to give their all and to push for that win. Their recent form hasn't been great: last weekend they lost to Pescara (0-2) after a draw against Ascoli (0-0). Normally, Gubbio play a 4-3-3, and the striker Tommasini (on eight goals) is their biggest threat. WHERE TO WATCH MILAN FUTURO ON TV In Italy, the game will be exclusively live on TV on Sky Sport e NOW, while worldwide there will be the free streaming on FIFA+. He will have assistants Capriuolo and Andriambelo, with fourth official, Castelli. Matchday 36 (Group B) will be played throughout the day on Monday 21 April, at 15:00 CEST, all at the same time: the other games will be Arezzo v Lucchese, Campobasso v Perugia, Legnago Salus v Pescara, Pineto v Virtus Entella, Pontedera v Rimini, Sestri Levante v Ascoli, Ternana v Pianese, Torres v Carpi Vis and Pesaro v SPAL. SPAL v MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW

February is upon us but the season is far from over. Milan Futuro are heading into their matchday 25 fixture in Serie C, which sees them travel to take on prestigious opposition in SPAL. We recorded our historic first league win against the Biancazzurri earlier in the season and, now, we head to the Stadio Paolo Mazza in search of points against a direct rival in the table. Let's get ready for kick-off with our Match Preview. LATEST FROM MILAN FUTURO The Rossoneri go into it off the back of two consecutive draws, in which they deserved more given their performances. Of late, their best displays have, in fact, come away from home. Since the start of December, away from Solbiate Arno, Milan Futuro have only narrowly lost in Pesaro. In order to move the chains in a tough but not irredeemable situation, the Rossoneri need a win, and Daniele Bonera can call upon some fresh faces from the transfer window. The impact made by Camporese, Ianesi, Magrassi and Quirini has been impressive and has coincided with improved levels of performance from some of our youngsters, especially Malaspina and Stalmach, but also Sandri scored his first goal for the Club in our last away trip (and what a goal it was). Bartesaghi, Coubis, Minotti, Quirini and Sandri are one booking away from a suspension. LATEST FROM SPAL The Ferrara-based outift have had a busy weekend in the transfer market with the signing of Fabrizio Paghera from Brescia, as well as the arrivals of Molina and Nina on loan from Vis Pesaro and the loan departure of Melgrati to Lucchese. Plenty of movement for the side that lost 1-0 to Carpi but had been on a five-game unbeaten run prior to that defeat: four draws and a win in Lucca. SPAL are without a win at home since 23 November (1-0 against Torres) but are still a tough team, despite the departure of Büchel to Messina. Bachini and Karlsson are recovering and the list of unavailable players is a long one (Camelio, Iglio, Parravicini, Saiani and Sottini), while Arena, who scored in the reverse fixture, is the only player at risk of suspension. "They had issues at the start of the season, but they can make whatever moves they want in the transfer window," said SPAL boss Dossena. "They've bought experienced players in attack and defence, who have caused us issues when they played for other teams. They've changed formation between a back 3 and a back 4 in recent games." WHERE TO WATCH MILAN FUTURO ON TV In Italy, the game will be broadcast live on Sky Sport and NOW TV. Don't miss the coverage on our Instagram, Official App and LATEST FROM SERIE C Gabriele Restaldo will take charge of the game at the Paolo Mazza. He will be assisted by linesmen Capriuolo and Alessandrino and fourth official Acquafredda. There are two Friday-night games on matchday 25 in Serie C Group B: Ascoli v Carpi and Vis Pesaro v Campobasso. On Saturday 1 February: SPAL v Milan Futuro at 15:00, Rimini v Perugia at 17:30. Sunday: Gubbio v Arezzo at 12:30; Legnago v Ternana and Torres v Sestri Levante at 15:00; Pianese v Lucchese and Pontedera v Pineto at 17:30; Pescara v Virtus Entella at 18:30. Here are the standings: Virtus Entella 53; Ternana (-2) 48; Torres 46; Pescara 43; Vis Pesaro 42; Arezzo 39; Pineto 35; Pianese 32; Rimini (-2) 30; Gubbio e Carpi 29; Perugia 28; Campobasso, Ascoli e Pontedera 27; SPAL (-3) 24; Lucchese 23; Milan Futuro 19; Sestri Levante 18; Legnago Kits, clothing, accessories, gift ideas and much more: visit the AC Milan online Store!
