Graduation reception of JSS College of Pharmacy held
The third Graduates Reception of JSS College of Pharmacy was held in the city on Tuesday, and 267 graduates received their graduation certificates for the year 2024-25.
This includes 104 BPharm candidates, 35 Pharm D candidates, 98 MPharm candidates, and 30 D Pharm candidates.
R. Sudheendra Bhat, Controller of Examination, JSS AHER, administered the 'Pharmacists Oath' for all the graduates.
Girish Kapur, senior vice-president, India Site Operations & Site Head of United States Pharmacopeia (USP) India, Hyderabad, told the graduating students that India's contribution to the field of pharmacy was significant and was exporting drugs to many countries.
He urged them to continuously update their knowledge. The graduates were impressed upon maintaining pharma quality and standards and underlined the role played by pharmacy graduates in adhering to quality.
Gold medals were conferred on toppers in different subjects and Shivaratri Deshikendra Swami of Suttur Mutt, C.G. Betsurmath, executive secretary, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, H. Basavanagowdappa, Vice-Chancellor, JSS AHER, T.M. Pramod Kumar, principal, JSS College of Pharmacy, and others were present.
