Arrested Limpopo woman accused of setting ex's house on fire
LIMPOPO – A 27-year-old woman is set to appear in the Phalala Magistrate's Court today on a charge of arson, following her arrest in the early hours of July 25.
According to the Limpopo police, the woman is accused of setting her ex-boyfriend's house alight following a domestic dispute.

The police spokesperson Col Malesela Ledwaba said the incident occurred in Steve Biko, Phase 4 in the Villa Nora policing area.
'The male complainant was sleeping in his house when his ex-girlfriend knocked at the door and he did not open. He woke up after she smashed window and he sought assistance from his neighbours,' his statement read.
It was then that the suspect allegedly set the house alight.
'The police were called to the scene, opened a case of arson and began with their investigations. The suspect was then arrested,' he said.
Ledwaba added that the total damage amounts to an estimated R520k, including all belongings destroyed in the fire.
Police investigations continue.
