Thousands set for Red Arrows Falmouth display
Thousands of are readying themselves for the RAF Red Arrows display in Falmouth Bay in said the aerial acrobatic display team was set to begin its display at 18:15 BST to mark Falmouth residents and visitors alike began to line vantage points along Falmouth's seafront including Pendennis Point, Cliff Road and Castle, Gyllyngvase and Swanpool beaches while boat owners took to the Red Arrows have exhibited a diamond nine shape and a combination of close formations, flypasts and precision flying since 1965.

RAF Red Arrows raise money for Lincoln hospital children's wards
The RAF Red Arrows team has raised money for the children's wards at Lincoln County and support staff ran, swam, walked, rowed and cycled 8,000 miles (12,875 km), the distance to and from their home base of RAF Waddington to their pre-season training camps in Croatia and the end of the month-long deployment they had raised £460 for the Rainforest and Safari Hospitals charity manager Ben Petts said he was delighted to receive the donation. "The Red Arrows have generously supported us for several years and this latest donation brings the total amount raised to over £3,500," he said."We can use these funds to purchase extra pieces of equipment for the children's ward which will improve the lives of our young patients, their families and the staff who care for them."Staff from the children's wards recently visited RAF Waddington to meet some of the team's engineers who completed the challenge and witness an aerobatic of the visitors play leader Karen O'Connor expressed her thanks to the crew. "We are so grateful to the support from the Red Arrows team and the time they give to visit the ward and bring a little Christmas cheer to the children and families over the festive season," she to highlights from Lincolnshire on BBC Sounds, watch the latest episode of Look North or tell us about a story you think we should be covering here. Much like previous events, they've promised two days of amazing aerial action with 30 aeronautical acts who will be taking to the skies this weekend. The air show kicked off yesterday, Saturday, July 5 with acts including Rolls Royce Spitfire and the popular RAF Red Arrows which draw crowds to the event annually. Today's event will start at 12pm and the last act will kick off at 4.06pm. Here is the full list of the air displays and the times they will be returning to the skies. This weekend the celebrated Red Arrows will be taking to the sky over Wales as they travel to the Wales Airshow. On Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6 the famous red jets will be travelling across the country to the big event in Swansea. The Red Arrows always release their flight paths ahead of the event so that people can catch them as they fly over Wales. And they often give fans a bit of a treat as they pass over. On both days, the Red Arrows will be flying to Wales from Exeter airport and will fly over Welsh towns on the route. Held over two days, the Wales Airshow attracts over 200,000 people who not only come to see the plane shows but also enjoy live performances, stalls and other activities held at the event.
