How to watch Reading and Leeds Festival 2025 on TV and streaming: full schedule
We're coming to the end of summer, and to the end of festival season, which can only mean one thing: Reading and Leeds is nearly here.
The UK's second biggest music festival is back for another year with dozens of the planet's biggest and best artists gearing up to delight audiences across the country (literally) this weekend. From Chappell Roan and Hozier with their catchy, heartfelt singalong pop songs, to Bring Me The Horizon and Limp Bizkit offering something for the heavier tastes, and Travis Scott bringing American rap across the Atlantic, there's something for everyone. And that's just the headliners.
The issue is, not everyone is able to get tickets for R+L, and some simply don't want to spend their time camping in a muddy field. We get it, you want a chill weekend without getting too much FOMO. Luckily, Reading and Leeds will be available to watch right from your sofa on TV and digital streaming. Here's everything you need to know to watch the festival this weekend from home.

What channel is Reading and Leeds 2025 on?
The BBC is your go-to broadcaster for all things R+L across TV and online. Some of the biggest sets will be live on BBC One on Friday August 22 and Saturday August 23 evenings, although this isn't scheduled for Sunday. There will also be a special highlights show next Thursday (August 28), once again on BBC One.

How to live stream this year's festival
The easiest way to livestream Reading and Leeds is on the BBC iPlayer. The stream will begin every day of the festival at 2pm and will be led by hosts Jack Saunders and Sian Eleri. The broadcaster promises 'festival highlights, performances from the Main Stage and Chevron Stage, and behind-the-scenes moments with special guests'.
Highlights will then be available on demand via iPlayer for 30 days, and a 'special compilation featuring standout moments' will be ready to watch for the next year.
Reading & Leeds acts confirmed for the BBC livestream
At the moment, we don't know exactly which acts will be shown live on the iPlayer, except from Chappell Roan on Friday evening, and Bring Me The Horizon on Saturday night. It is also very likely that the other headliners, including Travis Scott, D-Block Europe, Hozier, and Limp Bizkit, will also be shown live on iPlayer, but the BBC has yet to confirm their exact plans.

Yes, you can listen to Reading and Leeds on Radio 1, as well as catch up on BBC Sounds. Here's exactly when you'll be able to tune in this weekend.
On Friday August 22, Saturday August 23, and Sunday August 24, from 11am to 4pm Radio 1 will be on the ground covering some of the best sets at Reading and Leeds.
On Monday August 25, Radio 1 will broadcast a 'special dedicated Reading and Leeds Festival show' from 6pm until 1am, going over the very best moments from the weekend.
BBC Introducing will also focus on acts playing at Reading and Leeds this weekend from 11pm on Sunday to 1am on Monday morning.
