Unfortunately, Adeleke was unable to attend in person due to her training commitments at her University of Texas base.
But pals and family members were able to go in her stead.
Sharing a pic of them all dressed up for the occasion, she reflected: "So honoured to receive a Lord Mayor award yesterday!
"Unfortunately I couldn't be present but my amazing friends and family attended on my behalf."
