Gunna's New Album ‘The Last Wun' Has Arrived
Gunna's latest album, The Last Wun, is set to be his last project under longtime record label YSL. The record is the Atlanta rapper's second project since being released from jail in 2022 as part of a plea deal in the sprawling YSL RICO case that also ensnared Gunna's YSL boss Young Thug. The Last Wun follows last year's Wun of Wun, which debuted in the Top 10 on the charts.
Earlier this week, Gunna shared a post on X detailing his new album's lengthy, 25-song track list as well as the host of features from across the musical spectrum, including Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Offset. As with all things Gunna post-YSL trial, the album arrives as fan speculation continues about the status of his relationship with Thug.

In the months before Thug was released from jail last year, many fans conjectured about the nature of Gunna's plea deal in the YSL trial, with many commenters alleging the rapper 'snitched.' Thug would go on to tweet and then delete posts critical of Gunna, and on his recent track 'Money on Money,' several bars appear to be directed at Gunna. In May, adding fuel to the fire, Gunna had his YSL tattoo covered, to which Thug commented on Instagram, 'I mean… he said it must end lol.'
For his part, Gunna seems to steer clear of any conflict on The Last Wun, opting instead to offer fans a trove of party-ready tracks from one of rap's biggest acts.
