Samaiden wins RM108.6mil solar contract in 'central region'
KUALA LUMPUR: Samaiden Group Bhd has bagged a RM108.6 million contract to develop a 29.99MWac large-scale solar photovoltaic (LSSPV) project in the central region of Peninsular Malaysia.
Its unit Samaiden Sdn Bhd entered into the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) contract with an undisclosed client Company A due to a non-disclosure agreement.
The client is involved in the operation of electric generation facilities.
The project is expected to be completed by Jan 15, 2026.
"Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholdings structure.
"The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of Samaiden during the duration of the contract," it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
