Amruta Khanvilkar shared a never-before-seen throwback photo of her with Prajakta from their spiritual trip, where both looked gorgeous in traditional Marathi jewellery.
Marathi icon Prajakta Mali celebrated her 36th birthday on August 8, and remembering her special day, Prajakta's fellow actress Amruta Khanvilkar penned a heartfelt note. The Chandramukhi actress took to social media and wished Prajakta a 'very happy' birthday.
On August 8, Amruta shared a never-before-seen throwback photo of her with Prajakta from their spiritual trip, where both the actresses looked gorgeous in traditional Marathi jewellery, standing in front of a picturesque mountain backdrop.
Amruta Khanvilkar Pens Heartfelt Note on Prajakta Mali's Birthday
Taking to her Instagram, Amruta shared a heartfelt note celebrating Prajakta's 36th birthday. The picture seemed to be a throwback picture from their spiritual trip to Kedarnath, where Amruta and Prajakta were seen standing in a snow-covered landscape dressed in traditional attire and wearing snow jackets on top to beat the chilly weather.
Sharing the picture, Amruta wrote, '#darling @prajkata_official wish you a very, very happy bday, my dearest." Praju, tujhya sarkhi tuch…nirmal pan adhal…hasari…khush rahnari ani kush thevnaari…love you maitrini… har har Mahadev," followed by a red heart emoji.
Alongside the heartfelt post, Amruta took to Instagram stories to share a screenshot of her video chat with the birthday girl, who concluded her journey to visit the 12 Jyotirlingas with Bhimashankar Temple on her birthday. Sharing the screenshot, Amruta wrote, 'My sweetheart, I wish you the world and so much more. #happybday @prajakta_official."

Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali's Work Together
Amruta Khanvilkar and Prajakta Mali were seen sharing the screen on the Marathi thriller drama RaanBaazaar, which was released in 2022. Directed by Abhijeet Panse alongside the two divas, the show also featured Tejaswini Pandit, Mohan Agashe, Makarand Anaspure and Sachin Khedekar, among others. Prajakta also made a cameo appearance in the widely recognised Amruta Khanvilkar-led Marathi musical Chandramukhi.
Prajakta Mali was last seen on the Marathi comedy ChikiChiki BooBoomBoom alongside Swapnil Joshi, Prarthana Behere, Rohit Mane, Prathamesh Shivalkar and others. The film was released earlier this year. Mali is also hosting a comedy sketch show titled Maharashtra Hasyajatra, which airs on Sony Marathi.
On the other hand, Amruta Khanvilkar was recently conferred with her first Maharashtra State Film Award and was awarded the best actress award for her role in Chandramukhi.
