Celebrity Noel Edmonds' legendary night in county
BACK in 1973, Noel Edmonds graced the decks in Leominster.
The DJ and presenter was in town for the Radio One Club in May 1973, with crowds gathering to see the legend behind the decks.
Noel had first become known as a DJ on Radio Luxembourg in 1968 before moving to BBC Radio One, and was later known for hosting TV shows like Deal or No Deal and Top of the Pops.

He hosted the Radio One breakfast show in the 1970s, but the Radio One Club saw him travel to various locations around the UK and broadcast from here, there and everywhere.
It was originally hosted by Keith Skues with radio legend Tony Blackburn, beginning in 1968.
