Targeted towards Millennial and Gen Z travellers seeking a unique, design-led experience, this ambitious lifestyle hotel will also mark the first franchised Radisson RED property in the UAE to feature the updated RED concept. Radisson Hotel Group is expanding its footprint in East India with the signing of three new hotels in Deoghar, Puri and Ranchi. This deal forms a significant part of the group's broader India growth strategy, bringing a combined total of 400 rooms across the three locations. The three hotels — Radisson Blu Hotel in Deoghar, Radisson RED Puri , and Radisson Resort & Spa in Ranchi — are each designed to tap into distinct regional opportunities. In Deoghar, Jharkhand, Radisson Blu Hotel will be the city's first internationally branded upper-upscale property. Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) has revealed plans to open new hotels and carry out refurbishment and repositioning projects in Spain and Portugal, strengthening its presence in Iberia. The group will open new properties in the two countries and renovate an existing hotel in Tenerife, Spain. The Radisson RED Malaga, set to open in the second quarter of 2027, will feature 102 rooms, several of which will offer views of internal courtyards or Calle Trinidad. The property will feature a restaurant and bar on the ground floor, a rooftop bar, a swimming pool, a multifunctional meeting and event space exceeding 100m², and a dedicated fitness and wellness area of 110m². The group is collaborating with developer White Spain, which has expertise in the city's market dynamics, for the property. Developed in collaboration with Canarian Hospitality, the Radisson Resort & Residences Tenerife is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2025 after a renovation. Located close to Los Rodeos and Reina Sofia airports, it will be the first Radisson-branded resort on the island, offering 242 units comprising hotel rooms and apartments, many with private balconies and terraces. The resort will feature two restaurants, a pool bar, a 500m² ballroom for events, and a wellness area. Radisson Hotel Group development vice-president Valerie Schuermans said: 'We are thrilled to accelerate our growth in Spain, strategically expanding across both urban and leisure destinations while introducing the Radisson brand to Iberia.'
