Al-Rabaei, Obad Discuss Priorities for Upcoming Development Projects

Sana'a - Saba: The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan Al-Rabaei, and the Secretary-General of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud bad, discussed the priorities for the next phase of development projects in the agricultural, fisheries, and water sectors. The meeting, attended by the Director of Agricultural Services, Dhaifallah Shamlane, reviewed a project to provide agricultural machinery and equipment to establish water caravans that enhance aquifer recharge, in addition to the liquid caravan project aimed at supporting rainwater harvesting efforts. The meeting also addressed the importance of completing supply chain requirements for the fish product sales outlets project, which aims to deliver fresh, high-quality products to citizens across various provinces. The project also supports contract fishing to provide local raw materials for fish processing industries, reducing import costs. Discussions included a project to establish cold storage facilities for preserving agricultural products as a strategic step to improve agricultural marketing, along with plans for advertising campaigns promoting local products and creating a permanent exhibition for marketing agricultural goods. Dr. Radwan Al-Rabaei emphasized that these projects align with current priorities in response to the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council, as part of the government's Change and Development Program. He stressed that preserving water resource sustainability is a national and sacred duty, calling for rational water use, as these projects form a cornerstone for agricultural and fisheries sector growth. For his part, the Secretary-General of the Capital affirmed that the municipality is a key partner in implementing agricultural and fisheries projects, including marketing and water development initiatives. Sana'a International Coffee Exhibition kicks off tomorrow in Sana'a

Sana'a - Saba: The Sana'a International Coffee Exhibition, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, represented by the General Organization for Coffee Development and Marketing, will kick off on Sunday in Sana'a. The exhibition, which will last for five days, aims to support , develop coffee cultivation, raise the level of productivity, strengthen marketing mechanisms, and promote it in international markets. The Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources Minister- Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, Dr. Radwan Al-Rabaei, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the exhibition will be attended by coffee traders and exporters, agricultural associations specialized in coffee, the Union of Coffee Producers Associations, farmers and specialists in the coffee industry, to showcase the latest products and technologies in this field. He stressed that the main objective of the exhibition is to raise awareness of the importance of coffee cultivation , productivity , its unique characteristics and advantages, as it achieves returns and profits that exceed the costs of production inputs, in addition to its contribution to supporting the national economy with hard currencies from the proceeds of its export to foreign markets. Minister Al-Rabaei pointed out that the exhibition is one of the activities of the National Coffee Day to introduce Yemeni coffee and promote this strategic crop. The exhibition, which is co-organized by a number of entities and funded by the Agricultural and Fisheries Production Promotion Fund, includes several activities, including an exhibition of coffee products from various Yemeni regions, training workshops and scientific seminars on the value chains associated with this crop, as well as cultural activities to raise awareness of coffee as a cultural character and historical heritage of the Yemeni people. Agriculture leadership Ministry visits martyr leader's shrine in Maran, Sa'ada

Sa'ada - Saba: Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources Dr. Radwan Al-Rabaei visited on Friday the shrine of the martyr leader Sayyid Hussein Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi in Maran area of Haidan district in Sa'ada province. During the visit, the Minister of Agriculture and his companions read al-Fatiha for the martyr leader's soul and all national martyrs who wrote heroic epics in the face of the hegemonic and oppressive powers "America and Israel". They emphasized continuing to follow the path of the martyr leader and his Qur'anic project in confronting the enemies of the nation, and walking on the path of the martyrs until victory is achieved. Dr. Al-Rabaei pointed out that what the country is experiencing today in terms of victory and empowerment is thanks to God and the Qur'anic project of the martyr leader, pointing out the importance of this visit to remember the blessed start of the Qur'anic march and the greatness of the sacrifices made by the martyr leader in order to advance the nation and restore its status. Dr. Al-Rabaei stressed that visiting the shrine of the martyr leader is an inspiring station to learn lessons from his life, his biography, his Qur'anic project and his sacrificial stances in the face of the enemies of the nation.
