Agriculture minister discusses agricultural research, pilot plan
Sana'a - Saba: The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai, met with the Chairman of the General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension, Dr. Abdullah Al-Olafi, and his deputy, Dr. Abed Al-Bail. The meeting reviewed the Authority's research plan for this year, which contributes to developing research on agricultural products included in the import bill program, the challenges it faces, and the means to address them to achieve the desired goals. Minister Al-Rubai emphasized that developing research is one of the most important priorities being worked on to achieve a development renaissance. He highlighted the importance of organizing and managing research in various fields and protecting resources in accordance with the methodology of the Quranic Project. He urged institutions operating in the agricultural and fisheries sectors to redouble their efforts and coordinate with the General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension and the General Authority for Marine Science Research to benefit from and develop previous research outcomes to enhance local production. The Minister of Agriculture highlighted the importance of agricultural research outcomes in achieving food security for the country, emphasizing the ministry's commitment to developing institutional and organizational structures and correcting policies and working methods. Discussing Ramadan program plan at Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries
Sana'a - Saba: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources held a meeting in Sana'a, chaired by Minister Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai, to discuss the Ramadan program plan and prepare for the second phase of the Al-Aqsa Flood courses.
