Love In Vietnam marks the production debut of Omung Kumar. Based on the bestseller Madonna in A Fur Coat, it is produced under the banners of Blue Lotus Creatives, Rahhat Kazmi Film Studios, Innovations India, and Lensflare Entertainment. It is also supported by the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Mumbai and Vietnam Airlines.
Earlier this month, Love In Vietnam also made its debut at the Da Nang Asian Film Festival in Vietnam. This cross-cultural romance, filmed entirely in Vietnam, had its world premiere in the very country that served as its picturesque backdrop, making the moment truly unforgettable for the cast and crew.
Reflecting on the experience, Shantanu shared, 'The film was received very well. The on-screen chemistry and beautiful blend of the love story resonated with the audience. The fusion of Indian and Vietnamese cultures in the film was particularly appreciated."
'People who watched the film were actually excited and looking forward to their friends and family watching it. It was such a lovely gesture from their end. Working on a cross-cultural love story through this film was a different experience for me as well, and I am extremely grateful to have been a part of this project and its very first screening being held in Vietnam, where we shot the film," the actor added.
