In the sweet photos, the couple is seen posing on a beach, sitting together on a lounge chair. Wright leaned back on Swims, wearing a red and white gingham bikini and exposing her bare belly. Swims put his hands on her stomach, wearing a baseball cap and looking off into the distance. Wright also posed solo in the ocean, resting a hand on her belly. A third photo showed Swims giving his girlfriend a sweet kiss on the cheek. "We can't wait to meet you baby 🤍✨," the two wrote in their joint post. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the musician opened up about when he and his girlfriend discovered their exciting news. Swims noted that they were leaving Austin City Limits when they noticed something wasn't entirely normal. "She was complaining of things that we thought were period symptoms. And I was like, these have been going on for a while, maybe we should check this out," Swims said of his girlfriend. "And so we're in our hotel the next day, I don't remember where we're off. And weirdly, as we're driving through Austin, she'd never been to a Buc-ee's before, which is my favorite place in the whole world. And so I was like, you gotta go. The musician went on to say that they stopped at the gas station shop, got adult onesies and then went to Chili's to eat. 'So we're there, we're eating Chili's in our onesies, we go home and we do the test. We do like three of them and it's like, immediately yes you're pregnant," he shared. "And so we're freaking out, we're finding this out in our Buc-ee's. Until we find a name, we're just calling boy or girl 'Baby Buc-ee.' I'm going to call it Buc-ee, I don't care what the name is." The singer confirmed his romance with Wright in a July 2024 episode of The Kyle & Jackie O Show. 'She does what I do, which is great,' he said, referring to Wright's singing career. Teddy Swims reveals non-music career he hopes his unborn child will follow
Teddy Swims has discussed the future he hopes to see his unborn child enjoy as he prepares to become a father. The 32-year-old Grammy-nominated star is expecting his first ever child with girlfriend Raiche Wright, and is excited to become a parent. And while the singer, whose real name is Jaten Dimsdale, has enjoyed huge success as a musician, he hopes his son will follow a different path. Opening up about parenthood to The Hollywood Reporter, the Lose Control singer said, "Man, I'm so excited! My dad is the best father in the world. I think he's second to only Jesus Christ himself, you know what I mean? "I'm just so excited to plant seeds and raise this kid and see: what's your favourite colour? What are you gonna look like? Do you like Spider-Man?" Going on to express his hopes about his child's career, the star went on, "What's your thing, you know, are you gonna do music? I hope that I get to get back out on the football field one of these days and tell him to hit somebody (laughs). "I love to be a musician, of course, but I do want to get back out of the field. I hope he's a little athlete or maybe he's a musical theatre kid. I'm excited to see what this becomes and I'm really excited to watch Raiche become a mother." Heaping praise on his pregnant partner, the star added, "She's already a mother as her body's changing and watching that and seeing how well she takes care of herself and listens to her body. It's just been such a beautiful thing to watch and it's already changed my life so much. I can't stop smiling and wanting to cry when I talk about it." Teddy is set to perform at the 2025 Grammy Award which are due to take place in Los Angeles on Sunday 2 February - where he stands to win the Best New Artist Award.
