The film is directed by Kussh S Sinha and written by Pavan Kirpalan, with Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar also playing significant roles. Earlier this month, the filmmakers released a trailer that promised strong drama, spine-chilling horror moments and interesting narratives. While the actress is seen portraying a powerful character, Arjun Rampal also has a significant cameo in the film. The actor shared a glimpse of his role and expressed how delighted he was to be part of the film. Arjun Rampal shared a short clip where he appeared to be threatened by some external force. We also see a terrified Sonakshi later in the clip. In the caption, he wrote, 'It was truly a pleasure doing this cameo in #NikitaRoy the young @kusshssinha has made this unique film. With the support of two young boys I know since they were kids, are now young men and producers now. @nickkybhagnani @viickybhagnani all the best. @aslisona @pareshrawalofficial and the whole team thank you for a lovely memory. I do hope this movie finds its audience. Guys go for it. A good horror in the rain with hot samosas. Releasing in theatres on 27th June 2025." The film is directed by Kussh S Sinha and written by Pavan Kirpalan, with Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar playing significant roles. The film's trailer opens with Sonakshi Sinha approaching a frightening mansion in the woods at night, where she encounters demonic creatures. Paresh Rawal plays a phoney spiritual leader who manipulates others, and Sonakshi's character is determined to uncover his true identity within a week. She works together with Arjun Rampal's character to solve a series of murders. Rana Naidu 2: Arjun Rampal Felt 'Small' In Front Of Rana Daggubati, Gained 14 Kgs
Arjun also revealed that while he is used to playing the bad guy on screen, it does take a toll on him mentally. Arjun Rampal has joined Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati in Raina Naidu 2. The actor plays the menacing villain, Rauf; while Arjun has played villains before, this one was different for him. The actor felt small in front of the towering Rana and had to gain weight for this role. He revealed to the Hindustan Times that he gained 14 kgs to match up to Rana. Arjun Rampal expressed how he had to undergo a physical transformation for this role. 'Talking about physicality, the thing that I felt I really needed to work on for Rauf was gaining weight. Especially because I was working with Rana, who is a huge guy. He is really tall and big, and has this incredible screen presence that I was feeling small next to him," Arjun said. 'I decided to gain weight, because that's the only way it would appear like two guys, equals, at each other. If I go at this weight, which I have now, I would really look small next to him. So, it was important for me to put on this mass and have Rauf appear big," he added. Arjun also revealed that while he is used to playing the bad guy on screen, it does take a toll on him mentally. However, he has managed to make it a fun process. 'Nobody likes to be that (bad) guy. It takes a lot out of you. It's not an easy space to be in. But while doing it, you can have a lot of fun. So, I enjoyed it," he said. Arjun Rampal explained, 'The more time you've spent working on your character with your director, writers, and yourself, then when you are on set, you can have fun. Because by then you have given your inputs, understood the character, and done all the work. And it was very important for me for Rauf to be unpredictable, funny, and have a belief system." News18 Showsha gave the show 3/5 stars. 'Rana Naidu season two may be a letdown when compared to its previous counterpart, but watch it for the performances and the emotional moments. It's a pretty good representation of a dysfunctional family where trouble simmers at every corner, dead bodies are dug in and out on a whim and insecure fathers accuse their daughters of sleeping around. It still continues to be a crazy, reckless world where everything's fair in love and war. At the end of it, you're left with Karan Johar's golden words that it's all about loving your family. But here's hoping that season three turns out to be a less safe and more unhinged version of season two," our review mentioned. First Published:
