Axed Hollyoaks star reveals she's now a pole dancing teacher as she shows off her moves in thong and high heels

AN axed Hollyoaks star has revealed that she's now a pole dancing teacher, as she showed off her moves in a thong and high heels. After more than two decades on the Channel 4 series, Sarah left the acting gig behind when she was given an ultimatum by bosses - stop sharing racy snaps or leave. 6 6 6 6 The mum has always defended the controversial side hustle and slammed bosses for their 'blatant hypocrisy.' But she's now onto new ventures, and not only does OnlyFans but pole dances too. Sarah, 43, has regularly showed off her pole dancing skills on social media - and now she's taught her very first lesson, in a very sexy outfit. Talking to The Sun about how the debut went, Sarah shared: 'It was great and all the women were so lovely - I'm really excited for them all to go on their own little pole dancing journey. 'I can see myself doing more and more pole, because it's unintentionally become my personality. 'I get so much from it on a personal level but also finding space that, as a woman, I feel safe in.' Sarah continued: 'I feel supported, I feel I can be myself and not be judged - and how rare is it to find that space and sense of community? I feel very lucky.' Before the class, Sarah told her 245k followers how terrified she was of the challenge. The actress penned: 'I'm excited and terrified in equal measure… because very soon, I'll be stepping into a whole new challenge- teaching my first beginners' pole class! 'Pole has been a huge part of my life for over two years now. I first found it just after lockdown, a little before turning 41, when I was looking for something fun, but challenging. 'From the very first spin, I was hooked. What started as a way to move and push myself has become so much more- strength, confidence, and a whole new community of incredible, supportive people who lift each other up (literally!).' Sarah continued: 'I've recently started 1:1 training with a new pole coach, and I can already feel myself improving in ways I never expected. 'Now, I'm about to take the next step, sharing everything I've learned with others. My beginner's classes will be for absolute newbies or anyone wanting to go back to basics! 'I'll be teaching at the same studio where my journey began too which is exciting @PoleGymholmeschapel, and I can't wait to help others discover just how empowering pole can be.' Sarah showed off her toned physique in the carousel of images, as she promoted her new pole class. And she plans on doing it in some sexy new lingerie too, after joining forces with Raine & Bea collection, as their launch ambassador. Created by industry-renowned designer, Jenna Barnes, 'Encore' encapsulates the theatrical flair and decadent cabaret style in the tradition of Raine & Bea. And Sarah wants to rock it at a pole class, after attending the launch party Speaking of the lingerie, she shared: 'One of the things that makes me feel confident, even if you can't see it, is having nice underwear on. 'Knowing that you've got beautiful underwear on and it's a matching set is the one for me, because how often do we not do that. 'So the fact that the new range is affordable and stunning, and you could have a gorgeous underwear set on, there's something about that just straight away makes me feel like, oh, I got my S*** together.' It comes as Sarah discussed parting ways with Hollyoaks, as character Mandy Richardson. Despite it not being her choice to eventually leave her role in Hollyoaks, the mum confessed it was the best thing that could've happened to her. "I had no choice but to make what happened successful for me because essentially I'm the breadwinner out of myself and my husband and I can't not work," she said. Sarah, who played Mandy from 1996 to 2021, said she still enjoys working and wanted to set a good example for her son, as well as maintain the comfortable lifestyle the family has become accustomed to. "We have a lovely lifestyle and I want to maintain that," she said, "and I also want Stan to see that mum and dad work hard, and also that it's not a chore, we do something we enjoy and that we choose to do." 6 6

'Leaving Hollyoaks was taken out of my hands after I joined OnlyFans'

Ex Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn says it was "never her intention" to leave the soap and details how the decision "was taken out of her hands" after she joined OnlyFans Former Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn has opened up about how the decision to leave the Cheshire-based soap was made for her, after she joined risqué subscription website OnlyFans. The Manchester-born star, currently flying the flag for lingerie brand Raine & Bea's 'Theatrical flair for everyday wear' campaign, reveals the decision "was taken out of her hands" following her OnlyFans move. But Sarah, who now admits she feels sexier than ever, has decided to speak out to change the narrative surrounding OnlyFans. During an exclusive interview with New, Sarah openly addresses her early fame, her OnlyFans success, her body confidence and how her shock exit from the Channel 4 soap was misconstrued. ‌ ‌ Sarah says she's determined not to let age or what she calls 'social conditioning' stand in the way of her stripping off. She told the publication: "I feel so much more comfortable and confident in my body today. "I don't feel like I'm trying to tick any box of what I want my body to be, I just want to be strong and healthy and have longevity. I want to get older to still be fit and strong. I want to be able to play with my son, to continue to go to the gym, that's what's important." But Sarah says she's only become more confident in her own skin as she's gotten older and when she first started on screen when she was 14, she was still finding herself and her body was changing. She said of some roles she had when she was younger: "My body was being scrutinised and it was being edited without my permission. She continued: "You know, my boobs were being made bigger and my tummy was being made flawless. And all the natural things - and imperfections is the wrong word, because they're not imperfections - were removed. So I grew up not knowing what my body should or did look like. I'd see a picture of it in a lads' mag, then look at it in the mirror, and it was different." It's why Sarah wants to change the narrative surrounding OnlyFans. Speaking of her content on the website, she said: "I've got a lovely following and I create content that I was creating anyway but I do it now on my terms and it really works for me. I won't do it forever, but it's given me a really comfortable life and I enjoy it, so I don't see myself stopping it any time soon. ‌ "One of the reasons I've become a 'voice', is because I put my foot down against being sexualised and monetised by others and not benefiting at all, saying 'this isn't okay any more'. I think that resonated with a lot of people. I used to be a bit of a people pleaser, and I think a lot of us feel like that, so it's nice to see somebody set boundaries, take control and succeed. I've had lots of support, particularly from women." The actress is best known for having played Mandy Richardson on the long-running soap for more than two decades before her departure in 2021. She was given an ultimatum by Hollyoaks bosses when they insisted that she shut down her profile on OnlyFans, saying that her racy shots were not good for publicity. ‌ ‌She refused to shut down her page, with the star then revealing she thinks she knows which of her Hollyoaks co-stars made an official complaint about her account on the adult subscription-based website. Sarah's character first appeared on Hollyoaks in 1996 and left the show when Mandy suddenly jetted off to LA. Sarah has been open about her OnlyFans career and what led to her departure from the soap. And now, she opened up about being 'sexualised' while working as an actress but 'not being allowed to do it on her own terms'. ‌ She added: "I never really left, it was sort of misconstrued. When I joined OnlyFans, it was never my intention to leave the show [ Hollyoaks ]. That decision was taken out of my hands, and widely publicised. When you're an actor, you don't ever 'leave', you're in-between jobs. I've auditioned for other stuff, and if the right job came along and it fitted into my life and schedule, then I'd do it. "I've been acting since I was a teen, so there's always going to be part of me that misses it. But I've got a lovely life now, loads of free time and I love being my own boss. One thing I do miss is the banter and the camaraderie of being with people and creating something together. But a lot of jobs involve working away from home, and I don't want to do that for long periods because of my son." Speaking about lingerie brand Raine & Bea's new campaign, Sarah said: "It's such an honour to be ambassador for the new Raine and Bea collection. I've been a fan of Jenna's work for years now and always love wearing her pieces, I'm so excited that she's bringing her work to the masses with her diffusion line and the collection is stunning. I felt a million dollars wearing one of her new designs on launch night. I can't wait to wear more of the collection soon!'

Sarah Jane Dunn's OnlyFans update after Hollyoaks exit - with shock career twist

Ex Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn details her shock exit from the soap but says she feels sexier than ever as she updates on her OnlyFans success and surprise new career Former Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn says she feels sexier than ever as she addresses early fame, her thriving OnlyFans career, and her shock exit from the Channel 4 soap. The Manchester-born star is currently flying the flag for lingerie brand Raine & Bea's 'Theatrical flair for everyday wear' campaign, and at 41, is determined not to let age or what she calls 'social conditioning' stand in the way of her stripping off. 'I feel so much more comfortable and confident in my body today,' she exclusively tells OK!. 'I don't feel like I'm trying to tick any box of what I want my body to be, I just want to be strong and healthy and have longevity. I want to get older to still be fit and strong. I want to be able to play with my son, to continue to go to the gym, that's what's important.' Here, she opens up exclusively to OK! on motherhood with eight-year-old Stanley, being in control of her OnlyFans content, and her new job - as a pole instructor… ‌ READ MORE: Hollyoaks Frankie Osborne star 'out of comfort zone' as she takes on tough challenge ‌ Speaking about the new lingerie campaign, Sarah said: "It's such an honour to be ambassador for the new Raine and Bea collection. I've been a fan of Jenna's work for years now and always love wearing her pieces, I'm so excited that she's bringing her work to the masses with her diffusion line and the collection is stunning. I felt a million dollars wearing one of her new designs on launch night. I can't wait to wear more of the collection soon!" You look incredible in the new Raine & Bea lingerie range. Where do you find your confidence? When it comes to lingerie, I choose what to wear depending on how I want to feel, as opposed to what I want someone else to get out of it. It's nice to get to our 40s and maybe be mums and wives but also feel sexy, because we get to that stage where we're told we shouldn't be sexual any more. It's nice to give a finger to that and go, 'Sod what you think, because I feel confident and empowered!.' Have you always felt that way? The older I've got, the more confident I've become in my own skin. I started on screen when I was 14. I was still finding myself and my body was still changing. My body was being scrutinised and as I got older I did jobs where it was edited without my permission. My boobs were made bigger and my tummy was made flawless. And all the natural things – imperfections is the wrong word, because they're not imperfections – were removed. So I grew up not knowing what my body should or did look like. I'd see a picture of it in a lads' mag, then look at it in the mirror, and it was different. ‌ That must've been hard to cope with… I'm really lucky that I've got a supportive family and I've got my head screwed on, otherwise I might've been more affected. As I've gotten older, from my 30s onwards, I've put in work for many different reasons with therapy and coaching, which I recommend to anyone. It's so important to work through anything that anyone's been through. Have you ever been criticised for being 'too sexy'? ‌ I remember going to an event once in a mini skirt and crop top, feeling super confident. The next day I overheard a girl that I knew say 'Any woman over 30 shouldn't wear a skirt over their knees'. I thought, 'Wow', and found it really sad because I could see that's how she'd been conditioned and she was projecting her insecurities onto me. I don't want younger women to feel that way. You've been doing OnlyFans for over three years now. Are you enjoying it? It's great! I've got a lovely following and I create content that I was creating anyway but I do it now on my terms and it really works for me. I won't do it forever, but it's given me a really comfortable life and I enjoy it, so I don't see myself stopping it any time soon. ‌ You've hanged the narrative around it a bit, would you agree? I think so. The reason why I spoke out about being on the platform so much was because I want to change the narrative. Some are stuck in the idea that it's only one thing, and it's not. Yes there's explicit content, but that's why it's strictly for over-18s, and it's not what I do. ‌ It must be good to feel in control of what you're putting out there... Yes, and one of the reasons I've become a 'voice', is because I put my foot down against being sexualised and monetised by others and not benefiting at all, saying 'this isn't okay any more'. I think that resonated with a lot of people. I used to be a bit of a people pleaser, and I think a lot of us feel like that, so it's nice to see somebody set boundaries, take control and succeed. I've had lots of support, particularly from women. ‌ You're also incredible on the pole aren't you?! Well I'm lucky that I've found a hobby that's also a sport that I really enjoy. It's a sort of gymnastics exercise because of the flexibility and strength, and there's an element of dance, too. I love it! I'm so inspired by the women that go to my classes who are in their 60s. I just think, 'Wow, I want to be you!'. I've also just started teaching classes which is amazing. Would you like to go back to acting? ‌ I never really left, it was sort of misconstrued. When I joined OnlyFans, it was never my intention to leave the show [Hollyoaks]. That decision was taken out of my hands, and widely publicised. When you're an actor, you don't ever 'leave', you're in-between jobs. I've auditioned for other stuff, and if the right job came along and it fitted into my life and schedule, then I'd do it. Do you ever miss life on set? I've been acting since I was a teen, so there's always going to be part of me that misses it. But I've got a lovely life now, loads of free time and I love being my own boss. One thing I do miss is the banter and the camaraderie of being with people and creating something together. But a lot of jobs involve working away from home, and I don't want to do that for long periods because of my son.
