The second edition of 'Raitha Santhe' will be held at Munivenkataiah Ranga Mandira at Ideal Homes Layout, RR Nagar, from 7 am to 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

University of Agricultural Sciences-Bangalore to host ‘Raitha Santhe'
Residents of Bengaluru who love to buy fresh and authentic agricultural produce directly from farmers have something to cheer as two such raitha santhes (shandies) are being held in different locations of the city on Saturday. While the Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha (KRRS- Collective Leadership) is holding its second edition of 'Raithe Santhe' for two days from Saturday in Rajarajeshwarinagar, the University of Agricultural Sciences-Bengaluru is holding a one-day 'Raitha Santhe' in which products developed by the University and promoted by self help groups will be on display as well as sale at the University's GKVK campus. With this, the residents will get an opportunities visit raitha santhes both in the northern and southern areas of the city. The event, running from 7 am to 4 pm, aims to showcase the university's agricultural activities and products, with a focus on raising awareness among farmers. A variety of items will be displayed and available for purchase, including seeds, bio-fertilizers, aromatic and medicinal plants, agricultural tools, handmade soaps and face creams, ready-to-cook powders, millet-based value-added products, nutritional laddus, bakery goods, and more. These products are developed by UAS and promoted by Self-Help Groups. The event is open to the public.
