Northpointe Bancshares, Inc. (NYSE: NPB) (the 'Company') and its subsidiary, Northpointe Bank, announced today the appointment of Raj Chaudhary, David Lawrence, and John Tuttle, to the Company and Northpointe Bank Board of Directors, effective August 12, 2025. Man killed, 1 hurt as truck hits bike on Jaipur eway
Jaipur: A 33-year-old man was killed and another injured after a speeding truck hit their motorcycle on the Jaipur Express Highway Monday night. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident, prompting police to launch a search operation. According to officials at the Accident Police Station (West), the deceased was identified as Tulsiram Saini, a resident of Laxminarayanpura in Daulatpura. He was returning home from work with his neighbour, Raj Chaudhary (32), when the incident occurred around 9 PM near Pankhuri Hotel on the express highway. The police said the accident took place during heavy rain when a fast-moving truck rammed into their motorcycle from behind. Both riders were flung onto the road and sustained serious injuries. Passersby alerted the Daulatpura and Accident Police, who rushed to the spot and took the victims to Kanwatia Hospital. Doctors declared Saini dead on arrival, while Raj Chaudhary was admitted with a severe head injury. The body was handed over to the family after post-mortem on Tuesday morning. The accused fled the scene after ramming his car into the victim, who was standing outside his house. According to police, the incident took place around 10.30pm when the victim, Irfan Ali, was chatting with a friend outside his residence. In a sudden turn of events, a speeding car driven by one an unidentified person struck Irfan with such force that he was thrown nearly six feet away. Eyewitnesses rushed to help Irfan, who was later taken to a hospital by his family for treatment. He is currently undergoing medical care.
