The event was graced by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, who were warmly welcomed by Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg. Before the reception, the dignitaries toured the 'Raja Kita' exhibition, a special showcase highlighting the history and significance of the Malay Rulers Institution in Malaysia. Held from June 12 to 15, the exhibition featured a range of community-focused activities including free health screenings, colouring contests, Zumba sessions, and talent showcases. The reception began with a traditional welcoming performance titled 'Harmoni Dirgahayu', followed by a heartfelt video tribute, 'Titipan Untuk Tuanku', dedicated to His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. The ceremonial highlight was the cutting of a 'pulut kuning' (yellow glutinous rice), symbolizing the official birthday celebration prior to the tea reception. Additionally, 100 individuals received welfare aid of RM100 each through various social assistance programmes such as General Aid, Senior Citizen Aid, Allowances for OKU Workers, Non-Working Disabled Aid, Foster Child Support, Child Assistance, and Bedridden Patient Caregiver Aid. The event also celebrated Sarawak's multicultural harmony through vibrant cultural showcases. Among the performances were the 'Rong Sia' traditional dance by the Lun Bawang community, the 'Joget Tempurung' and Zapin Sarawak, representing local Malay heritage, and appearances by guest artistes. Among those present were Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, who is also chair to the state-level celebration committee, alongside Sarawak state ministers, elected representatives, department heads, community leaders, and over 1,000 invited guests. abang johari Agong's birthday limbang Wan Junaidi

An exhibition titled Raja Kita will take place in Limbang, Sarawak in conjunction with the state-level birthday celebration of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. The exhibition, set for June 12 to 15 at the Limbang Civic Centre, is to raise the public's awareness, especially among the younger generation, of the role of the King as a symbol of national sovereignty. The Sarawak Public Communication Unit quoted State Education, Innovation and Talent Development Minister Datuk Seri Roland Sagah Wee Inn saying that the exhibition aimed to increase the people's understanding of the history and function of the royal institution in the constitutional monarchy and system of parliamentary democracy. Sagah is also the minister responsible for the state-level celebration. 'We want the people, especially youths, to better understand the history and importance of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's institution as the symbol for national unity and justice,' said Sagah after chairing the main committee meeting of the Official Birthday Celebration in Sarawak. Apart from the royal exhibition, various religious, cultural and entertainment events will also be held from June 11 to 14, including a multi-religious thanksgiving ceremony, a concert by local artists, and a tea ceremony with Sarawak Governor Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Openg. Sagah added that in order to enliven the event, the celebration also targeted the presence of visitors from the Federal Territory of Labuan and Sabah as well as neighbouring countries Brunei and Indonesia. To facilitate this, the organisers have requested an extension of the operating hours of the border gate with Brunei until midnight. 'We are targeting 10,000 people throughout this celebration. 'This festival is not only a national event but also a platform to foster unity and identity among people of various races,' he said. The Limbang Division Resident's Office will also organise various side activities, such as Limbang Kitchen, to introduce local cuisine to visitors.
