Wagle Ki Duniya: Sai Darshan Society conducts self-defence classes for women's safety
In the upcoming episodes of
Wagle Ki Duniya
– Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, the narrative takes a socially relevant turn as the Sai Darshan Society introduces
self-defence classes
for women. The plot begins when young Kittu (Mahi Soni) expresses her wish to join a self-defence class.
Initially, Dakku (Deepak Pareek) and Harshad (Amit Soni) downplay her desire, arguing that girls don't need to learn how to defend themselves.
However, Rajesh Wagle (Sumeet Raghavan) provides a progressive perspective, asserting that every girl has the right to protect herself, just like any boy.
A turning point comes when Sakhi (Chinmayee Salvi) and Gungun (Nandini Maurya) face harassment while commuting on a bus.
This incident prompts Harshad to reevaluate his beliefs, ultimately acknowledging that Rajesh was right all along. In response, Sai Darshan Society brings in a martial arts trainer to conduct self-defence sessions for the women. As the men struggle with household chores, the women rise to the occasion and embrace the training.
Together, they come up with a plan to ride the same bus again and confront the harassers directly.

Speaking about the track, Sumeet Raghvan, who plays Rajesh Wagle, shared, 'Rajesh Wagle is an inspiration in the way he consistently stands up for
gender equality
, whether at home or in society. Here too, he firmly believes that if girls want to learn self-defence, they not only have the right but also the need to do so. He believes girls should be whatever they want to be; strong, independent, and unafraid. As a father, while his instinct is to protect, he knows true protection lies in empowering them to protect themselves.
This track is important, and I'm so glad the show is taking it up with such sensitivity.
It's a conversation that needs to reach every household that safety and strength aren't just for boys — they're for everyone.'
The show continues to win hearts with its family-oriented storytelling, while bravely spotlighting urgent social issues like women's safety and empowerment.
