Bareilly Shocker: Woman Rams SUV Into Ramada Hotel Lobby, Video Goes Viral
Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh: Chaos erupted late on the night of July 25 when a woman lost control of her SUV and crashed into the reception area of the luxurious Ramada Hotel. The shocking moment was captured on the hotel's CCTV and has since gone viral on social media. The video footage shows a white compact SUV reversing at high speed before smashing through the hotel's main glass entrance and coming to a halt deep inside the reception lobby. In the process, the vehicle narrowly missed a parked car and several bystanders, who managed to leap out of harm's way just in time. The SUV, which was in reverse gear, reportedly accelerated suddenly after the accelerator was mistakenly pressed, leading to the high-speed crash. The vehicle brushed past another car and rammed into the hotel's entrance, shattering glass and causing panic among hotel staff and guests. Despite the severity of the crash and the dramatic footage, no injuries were reported. Two people standing at the entrance and two others nearby managed to escape without harm. However, the hotel's reception area and glass facade suffered significant damage. Hotel authorities and the local police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident. An internal review and damage assessment are underway. No criminal charges have been announced yet, but officials are investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Sustainable Studies Program first graduates honoured
A proud moment unfolded as Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain, Her Excellency Anne Jalando-on Louis, honoured the first graduates of Eagle Mind Consultancies, WLL, under its Sustainable Studies Program. The event was in appreciation of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Bahrain who have graduated from the Teaching Assistant Course and the Barista Essentials. Recently conducted at the Ramada Hotel, Seef Area, the graduation ceremony was awarded to a total of 26 graduates — 14 Teacher Assistant Course and 12 Barista Course — making the event a milestone not only for Eagle Mind but also for the Filipino community in Bahrain. Ambassador Jalando-on Louis, who served as guest of honor and keynote speaker, praised the graduates for their determination and commitment to self-improvement. She congratulated Dr. Aileen Valian A. Agana, founder of Eagle Mind Consultancies.

Mosul kicks off the first ‘Ta'theer' forum for content creators
Shafaq News/ The northern Iraqi city of Mosul launched its inaugural 'Ta'theer' (Impact) Forum for content creators on Wednesday, bringing together a diverse group of local and Arab influencers in a bid to strengthen Iraq's digital media landscape. Held under the theme of innovation and cultural renewal, the three-day forum aims to explore emerging trends in digital content and reassert Mosul's cultural presence after years of instability. 'This is the first forum of its kind in Mosul,' said Ayoob Thanoon, a member of the organizing committee. 'It's about fostering creativity and recognizing content creation as a tool for community building and cultural dialogue.' The forum includes panel discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and case studies of successful digital initiatives. Events are being held across three venues: Mosul University Lake, the Ramada Hotel, and the University of Nineveh. Sponsored by the Mosul Heritage Foundation and a private media firm, with support from local radio outlets, the initiative seeks to empower digital creators and amplify narratives that reflect the city's identity and challenges. 'We're aiming for real impact,' Thanoon said. 'This is about opening space for creators to produce content that tells Mosul's story — with authenticity and purpose.'
