Dubai Culture Celebrates Spirit of Giving with 6th Ramadan Heroes

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has announced the launch of the sixth edition of its humanitarian initiative, Ramadan Heroes, in collaboration with talabat UAE and the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC). The annual campaign promotes solidarity and generosity across society and encourages participation in philanthropic efforts. It aligns with Dubai Culture's commitment to social responsibility and supports the 'Ramadan in Dubai' campaign, spearheaded by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, in partnership with several government and private entities to showcase the emirate's vibrant Ramadan under the theme 'Celebrating the Spirit of Giving,' Dubai Culture aims to support underprivileged families and individuals across the UAE by encouraging residents to donate iftar and suhoor meals, food parcels, Eid clothing, and Zakat Al Fitr through the Ramadan Heroes virtual charity on talabat UAE. Aid will be securely and promptly delivered to beneficiaries in coordination with Emirates Red Crescent Rashed Al Suwaidi, Director of the Corporate Communication and Marketing Department at Dubai Culture, emphasised that Ramadan Heroes reflects the deep-rooted values of Dubai's community, saying: 'This initiative serves as an inspiring model for strengthening social cohesion and reaffirms Dubai Culture's commitment to supporting those in need during the holy month. Over the years, Ramadan Heroes has made a positive impact on philanthropy, encouraging acts of kindness and continued contributions to charitable causes.'Al Suwaidi expressed Dubai Culture's pride in partnering with talabat UAE and the Emirates Red Crescent, stressing their vital role in supporting the programme and reinforcing the city's position as a global humanitarian AIKhaja, Marketing Director of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, affirmed that the 'Ramadan Heroes' initiative is entering its sixth year with greater inclusivity and a wider-reaching impact, made possible through strong collaboration and coordination among its partners. She highlighted the initiative's positive outcomes over the past years saying, 'The initiative reflects the shared commitment of the Emirates Red Crescent, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, and talabat UAE to strengthening social responsibility and cultivating meaningful partnerships in this vital area. It serves as a model for expanding coordination and collaboration during the holy month of Ramadan, mobilising community support to meet the needs of families, individuals, and target groups, ensuring a greater impact throughout this blessed month.'Simonida Subotic, Vice President and Managing Director at talabat UAE, said: 'As we mark the sixth edition of the 'Ramadan Heroes' campaign, we remain committed to giving back to the UAE community.
