The incident occurred around 6 am near the Anchal Chanchal Dhaba under Ramnagar police station area. According to police, an MUV car carrying seven people rammed into a truck, killing four occupants — including a woman — on the spot. Three others, including two children, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the Ramnagar Community Health Centre. They were later referred to the Barabanki District Hospital for further treatment. Circle Officer Garima Pant inspected the accident site, while SHO Anil Kumar Pandey confirmed that the bodies had been sent for postmortem. Efforts are underway to complete the identification and inform all relatives. Victims included Gonda-based property dealer and his relatives Police said the victims were returning to Gonda from Kanpur after attending an engagement ceremony.
