Cowboys' Micah Parsons Weighs Rams Trade to Form Terrifying Front with Aaron Donald and Jared Verse

Cowboys' Micah Parsons Weighs Rams Trade to Form Terrifying Front with Aaron Donald and Jared Verse originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Unlike his boss, Micah Parsons has been quiet since his trade request from the Dallas Cowboys last week. Amid stalling contract extension negotiations, the star defensive end has grown tired of the pace at which Jerry Jones & Co. operate. Parsons has yet to talk to the media since his Friday announcement, but Jones has had his share of headline-worthy quotes. Now Parsons has broken his silence, of sorts, with some social media engagement that is sure to frighten Cowboys fans ... and opposing offenses around the NFL. An Instagram user posted a jersey swap of Parsons in a Los Angeles Rams uniform, which got the attention of Rams legend Aaron Donald. Donald commented: "If [Micah Parsons] go to the rams I might have to call [my trainer] and get in football shape. wit that Dline would be unreal." The prospect of teaming up a future Hall-of-Fame tackle in Donald, the reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year in Jared Verse and a perennial Defensive Player of the Year candidate in Parsons on the defensive line is enough to scare any of the best offenses in the NFL. Of course, Micah had something to say about it as well. Parsons responded to Donald's comment saying, "man!!! Dont tell me info like that!!" ... Then tagged his agent David Mulugheta. Even though Jones claims that he is "urgent" in resolving this stalemate with Micah, he has yet to contact Mulugheta about discussing terms of an extension. Mulugheta has since asserted how he and Parsons are serious in their desire for a trade, but Dallas retains full leverage. Micah is under contract until next offseason, and could be placed on two years worth of franchise tags to keep him a Cowboy. Only time will tell how this situation unfolds as we approach Week 1 - where Jerry has "absolutely no" confidence that Micah will be active. A trade is still far beyond comprehension at the moment, but if one were to happen, football fans cannot deny that a Parsons/Donald/Verse front would contend as one of the most imposing defensive lines ever.
