Neighbours boss confirms if Kylie and Jason will return in second finale
Jason Herbison, the Executive Producer of Neighbours, has opened up about the show's finale. In 2022, Channel 5 aired the last ever episode of Neighbours. It featured the return of a whole host of familiar characters including Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue's Scott and Charlene. Months later, streaming platform Amazon Freevee picked the show up, allowing it to return. Earlier this year, fans were heartbroken once more as they learnt the soap had been cancelled again. The final scenes are being filmed in July, with the last episode set to air in December. Ahead of the farewell, show producer Jason Herbison has opened up about what to expect for the last instalment. 'I've already written it, and I would say that I definitely am not going to try and compete with that finale', he told Back to the Bay, noting the 2022 episode. 'I haven't picked up the phone to Jason [Donovan] and Kylie [Minogue] and Guy [Pierce] again. I've left them alone, but it will be very similar in tone. I think it's a very warm, hopeful tone, but it's also a little bit different. There are things about it that I think might remind people of the previous finale, but it's also very different.' More Trending Jason went on to stay that he remains hopeful this isn't the last we've seen of Ramsay Street. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? 'I think, as has been well documented, the show's not ending because people aren't still enjoying it. We still have an amazing following. 'Unfortunately, the closure of Amazon Freevee did mean the end of the show. But having said that, at the end of this chapter of the show, they were terrific and gave us lots of notice on it as well, which is as much as you can possibly hope for. It wasn't something that took anyone by surprise. View More » 'We had a lot of notice and we could see that this was probably going to happen. So, very hopeful.' Neighbours reveals new 'cheating' scandal as Karl shares shock news with Susan
Neighbours is lining up a huge week for Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher) as the shocking truth about Dr Darcy Tyler (Mark Raffety) comes to light. Of course, it wouldn't be a week Down Under without at least one returning favourite, and in upcoming scenes we'll see Krista Vendy reprise her role of Tess Bell. The old face brings with her some shocking secrets about Darcy, which Karl later relays to wife Susan (Jackie Woodburne). Little do they realise, Darcy has overheard every last word and soon enacts a vicious revenge plan. Across the road, Darcy's behaviour is rattling another Ramsay Street family. Jane Harris (Annie Jones) and son Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux) are becoming increasingly concerned about Amanda's (Briony Behets) health. Darcy scams her out of a hefty amount of money – before convincing her family that she is struggling mentally. Elsewhere in Erinsborough, Taye Obasi's (Lakota Johnson) lies about his escorting intensify, and Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) unknowingly gets closer to Chelsea Murphy (Viva Bianca) following that baby twist. Plus, Wendy Rodwell (Candice Leask) decides to do some reluctant snooping into husband Andrew's (Lloyd Will) potential cheating. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video When she makes a damning discovery, the floor falls from beneath her feet. For all the hottest goss from the other side of the world, I'm your man! Kick back with a Chlojito and enjoy next week's Neighbours spoilers… Wendy is in disbelief that Andrew would be using dating apps, or indeed cheating on her, but Nicolette (Hannah Monson) has her doubts and decides on an action plan – setting up a fake profile to catch him in the act. Wrestling her guilt and not comfortable with the plan, Wendy urges her against it. But it's too late – Nic's honeytrap has already messaged 'HotRod69'. The community gather together for Lassiters' Mother's Day fête, though Krista (Majella Davis) doesn't want to partrake and busies herself with work. She turns down lunch with Leo (Tim Kano) and Abigail, but ultimately gives in. Krista's heart-warmed when Abi hands her a card, and Leo assures her that they will be by her side. Poor Agnes (Anne Charleston) is having a terrible time down at Eirini Rising. Her daughter has cancelled on her, and Max (Ben Jackson) decides to step in and spend the day with her. Over on Ramsay Street, Amanda is upset by the lack of photos of her in Jane's house. She's further dismayed when Nicolette turns down the opportunity to sort through her grandmother's designer clothes, so she decides to gift them all to Sadie (Emerald Chan) instead. With Mother's Day ruined, Jane tries to salvage what's left of the day. Little do they realise, Darcy has searched Amanda's apartment for her shareholding documents, and after finding them in the freezer, he transfers them all to his name. He's suddenly a very rich man! Dex and JJ (Marley Williams and Riley Bryant) present their mums with some gifts, included a big jar of gummy bears that Cara (Sara West) quickly scoffs. Suddenly, her stomach begins to growl and she has to race to the toilet. Aaron (Matt Wilson) admits that he swapped them for sugar free equivalents – wanting to keep to her health plan – and is forced to apologise. She decides that it's time she gets her own back… Over dinner, Jane and Byron notice Amanda struggling with her memory. Their concern is only enhanced when Sadie tells them that Amanda does have the mug that Byron made her as a child after all, but she must have forgot. Jane asks Susan and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) for advice, and they suggest that a memory test should be performed. Byron decides to subtly complete the test by offering to help Amanda with her banking work, but when she tells Darcy, he becomes concerned that his fraud will be exposed. Gaslighting her, he hints that her family could be trying to swoop in on her cash. Darcy then meets with Jane and Byron and produces the mug – now smashed – telling them that Amanda's mental health is spiralling and that she broke it. Karl has major suspicions and arranges a meeting with former Erinsborough resident Tess Bell, who reveals that she was married to Darcy during her time away from the area but divorced him after his true colours shone through. After their marriage ended, he still owed her a hefty amount of money. As Karl recalls what he's heard to Susan, neither of them realise that Darcy has overheard every last word. Elsewhere, Fallon (Kate Connick) demands some more cash from Taye and he reluctantly restarts his escorting side hustle. Aaron gives him some advice on how to put on a 'show' – without knowing exact reason why – and escapes being caught by Max and Remi (Naomi Rukavina). Following his meeting with Lydia, he buys in a round in for his pals and tells them that he's been getting a lot of tips. However, Aaron is suspicious… Terese and Paul can feel themselves drifting apart as her jealousy over Chelsea grows by the day. When he agrees to create a trust fund for Thomas – unaware that the cash is going to pay off Jeffrey (Tim Potter) from exposing his paternity secret – Chelsea sees this as proof that Paul is reciprocating her feelings. Darcy confronts the Kennedys about Tess' accusations, and although Susan is satisfied, Karl can't help but feel that his nephew has an answer for every predicament he finds himself in. Realising that his secrets are on the brink of exposure, Darcy decides to take Karl's life into his own hands by swapping out his herbal pain medication for strong opioids. Will Karl be ok? Elsewhere, Remi and Cara are confused how Taye got the money to buy Dex some brand new basketball trainers. Taye admits to his nephew that he has a lucrative new side hustle, but pleads with Dex not to say anything. Paul is guilt-ridden following his kiss with Chelsea, putting it down to a momentary lapse in thought and nothing more. She takes his flustered reaction of confirmation that his feelings are shining through and are more than he's letting on. She heads straight to speak to Cara, who twigs onto her devious behaviour. Later, the sisters have another conversation, where Chelsea announces that Paul has given a clear signal that they will soon be a family unit. Paul gifts Terese an expensive diamond necklace to assure her that he's still committed, and when she tries to make Chelsea jealous with it, it backfires. She sees the jewellery for what it really is: a gift of guilty conscience. Leo can also see through his dad's behaviour, and Paul is forced to confess to the kiss and his torment over hurting Terese again. He takes on board the words of wisdom – he should stay away from Chelsea. Elsewhere, Wendy doesn't want to believe that the dating profile that Nicolette found is really Andrew, despite the damning evidence to support her claims. More Trending When Nic reveals that she saw Sandra (Natassia Halabi) heading to the police station, Wendy decides to confront her husband head on. She follows him on a run, and is shocked to see an emotional Sandra interrupt his flow and fall into his arms. To Wendy, it seems like this is a consensual embrace and confirms that Andrew is a cheater. View More » Neighbours streams from 7am, Monday to Thursday – for free – on Amazon Prime Video. Neighbours confirms earth-shattering baby twist as scandal rocks Erinsborough
Neighbours is lining up a big week for Wendy Rodwell (Candice Leask), as she fears her husband Andrew (Lloyd Will) is cheating on her. An argument escalates during one of his self-defence classes, with Nicolette Stone (Hannah Monson) making a damning discovery on a customer's phone later in the week. There's a huge paternity shock in store for Chelsea Murphy (Viva Bianca), with her left debating whether to tell Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) that he isn't baby Thomas' father. How will he take the news? Karl and Susan Kennedy (Alan Fletcher and Jackie Woodburne) are onto dastardly Dr Darcy Tyler (Mark Raffety) when they uncover yet another of his lies, with him closing in on Amanda Harris' (Bryony Behets) money. Plus, Nell Rebecchi (Ayisha Salem-Towner) decides to face her daemons with the help from dad Toadie (Ryan Moloney), and for Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux), he has to bid farewell to one of his closest pals. But what will happen when they refuse to leave Melbourne? For all the latest from Ramsay Street, I'm your man. Here's a look at next week's Neighbours spoilers… Karl and Susan have questions about Darcy's friendship with Amanda, with him growing increasingly defensive. When he mentions that he's made things right with Dee (Madeleine West), Karl's suspicions are piqued. He asks Toadie to contact her, with it later being confirmed that Darcy hasn't been in touch at all . Meanwhile, Amanda spends an afternoon with Sadie (Emerald Chan) at the Day Spa, and asks Darcy to sort out some of her financial documents. He's more than happy to help, and realises that she has no idea of how wealthy she really is. Elsewhere, Andrew and Aaron (Matt Wilson) have a set-to over how to prepare Cara (Sara West) for the police academy, while Wendy continues to be frustrated with her husband's lack of cooperation with her plans to move to Murrayville. Nicolette gives her some words of wisdom, urging Wendy to go for what she wants. She jumps straight on Andrew's computer and finds a police force job opening in Murrayville, and decides to enquire about it on his behalf. At Erinsborough High, Nell is upset after finding the fish in her locker and decides to study remotely until the situation calms down. Toadie asks Holly (Lucinda Armstrong-Hall) to help out, and she offers some much-needed advice. Off the back of the chat, Nell decides to hold her head up high and continue going to school. Paul begins to feel on the outer as Toad and Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) fuss around the youngster, and Chelsea picks up on his upset. He's thrown even further into her arms when Thomas is rushed to hospital, and the complicated family unit band together. Andrew reassures Wendy that he still cares about her career, and she's left feeling guilt-ridden about her job search for him. She decides to remain quiet, but word soon spreads around the station about his potential relocation. Rushing home, Andrew accuses Wendy of going behind his back and risking his career. At the hospital, Chelsea and Paul desperately await for news on Thomas following his sudden illness. Terese tries to support Paul, but finds it difficult to do when she's sidelined for Chelsea. Luckily, Thomas makes a quick recovery, but tensions are mounting. Terese is caring for Paul's wellbeing, but he thinks she's jealous. She's left further frustrated when she sees Krista starting to soften towards Chelsea. Later, Paul and Chelsea have a heart to heart, thankful for the health of their son. During the chat, they share a charged moment… Elsewhere, Krista (Majella Davis) and Leo (Tim Kano) receive a credit voucher for their honeymoon resort after they left early, but decide not to use it. Holly and Max (Ben Jackson) don't want to see the holiday go to waste and pitch the idea of using it, but their idea hits a brick wall when Taye (Lakota Johnson) also joins in on the competition. The schemers are all left disappointed when the Tanakas gift it to Aaron instead. Cara and Remi (Naomi Rukavina) interrupt on Paul and Chelsea's intimate moment – with Chelsea confiding that she believes he must have feelings for her. When Nell's charges are dropped, Terese is glad to have Paul by her side, but is oblivious to the sweet messages he's sending Chelsea about Thomas. In a shocking twist, Chelsea secretly meets up with Jeffrey, the dodgy IT guy. He explains that he switched the paternity results, and is Thomas' true father! This revelation is going to be earth-shattering for Paul. Elsewhere, Byron wonders how Sadie will feel when the share house decide to host a pool party. To his surprise, she says that she wants to build back her body confidence and will contemplate her attendance. As the gathering gets into full swing, Sadie arrives wearing a kaftan over her swimsuit and confidently strolls through the garden. Taye receives another message from Lydia asking for some afternoon fun, and sister Remi almost oversees it during a game of poker. Byron also receives a text – but his is from Haz (Shiv Palekar), explaining that he and Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) are ready for Trevor the dog to be shipped to Paris. Oh no! Andrew confronts his issues with Wendy by leading another self-defence class, but when she tags along, she spots attendee Sandra flirting with him. From her perspective, Andrew is encouraging it, and she's not happy. Wendy embarrasses her husband in front of the whole class when she storms up to confront him, and a horrific argument ensues. Chelsea is torn about Thomas' paternity, and doesn't know what to do for the best. Jeffrey agrees to keep quiet – for the right price – but she wants to do what's right for her son. Determined not to give into his blackmail, she decides to tell Paul the truth. However, when she comes face to face with him, she realises that Thomas would have a much better life with Paul in it. Will she do what's right? Elsewhere, Byron prepares a crate for Trevor and tries to train him to stay in it. Despite the share house's extensive research and best intentions, Trev' refuses to get comfortable before his flight to France. Feeling like he's letting his best friend down, Byron gets upset but has to come clean to Haz that he hates it – and therefore must stay in Australia. Over at Lassiters, Wendy asks Nicolette for a job at the cafe and to her surprise, she's instantly hired to help with the Mother's Day rush. More Trending Unfortunately for Wendy, the flirtatious self-defence class attendee Sandra shows up for a coffee. They try and keep the peace, but Wendy is shocked to learn that her nemesis knows all about her marital issues with Andrew. Shocked, she offloads the information to Nicolette, who then sticks her nose in and uncovers that Sandra is messaging a guy on a dating app with the same tattoo that Andrew has. Is he cheating on Wendy? View More » Neighbours streams these scenes from 7am – for free – between Monday, May 5th and Thursday, May 8th on Amazon Prime Video.
