Motorcycle crash claims life of Missouri man
ST. CLAIR CO., Mo. — A motorcycle driver is dead after a Friday night crash. Just after 7:50 pm, a 38-year-old man from Louisburg, Missouri, was driving a motorcycle on westbound Highway 54, just 5 miles west of Collins. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the vehicle overturned off the right side of the road and struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:30 p.m. by the St. Clair County Coroner, Randy Sheldon. This is Troop D's 47th fatality of the year. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. Dallas County man dies in motorcycle wreck
ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Dallas County died in a single-motorcycle wreck on Friday, May 30. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, the wreck occurred at 7:51 p.m. on U.S. 54 around five miles west of Collins. A 38-year-old male — who was westbound on a 2007 Yamaha Road Warrior — overturned off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, the report says. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene by St. Clair County Coroner Randy Sheldon. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the report. The report says next of kin have been notified.
