Dallas County man dies in motorcycle wreck
ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Dallas County died in a single-motorcycle wreck on Friday, May 30.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) crash report, the wreck occurred at 7:51 p.m. on U.S. 54 around five miles west of Collins.
A 38-year-old male — who was westbound on a 2007 Yamaha Road Warrior — overturned off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, the report says.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene by St. Clair County Coroner Randy Sheldon. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the report.
The report says next of kin have been notified.
This is MSHP Troop D's 47th fatality in 2025.

Man killed, woman injured in Lone Jack motorcycle crash
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was killed and a woman was injured Saturday night after crashing on a rural highway in Lone Jack, Missouri. said that at about 7 p.m., officers with the Oak Grove Police Department, deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, and troopers with MSHP were called to Highway F, just south of Colbern Road, on reports of a deadly crash.
