Scheana Shay reveals husband Brock Davies cheated on her while she was pregnant

Scheana Shay revealed her husband, Brock Davies, cheated on her while she was pregnant with their daughter, Summer Moon. The Vanderpump Rules star said Davies admitted to his affair around the time he was rumoured to be sleeping with her former co-star Raquel Leviss in 2023, according to an excerpt from her upcoming memoir, My Good Side, and obtained by Glamour. She explained that, after an 'amazing day' with her family, they sat down to watch the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, before he asked her to 'put down the remote.' 'Brock said that with all of the fake news being published, he was afraid that something that actually was true might surface, and it was best that I heard it directly from him,' she wrote, referencing the rumours surrounding his friendship with Leviss. 'My whole body froze, and I remained in a state of paralysed shock as he confessed that he'd cheated on me two years prior, when we were living in San Diego during the [Covid-19] pandemic, while I was pregnant with Summer. ' … As I sat there, feeling completely sick to my stomach, he admitted that — at the time — he was scared about being a father again, specifically about whether he even deserved to be, and he chose to deal with it by sleeping with someone else. 'I use the word 'chose' because it was very much a conscious decision. No one twisted his arm or dragged him into bed.' Shay, 40, described feeling a 'deep fury bubbling inside of [her]' that she 'couldn't release,' saying that she avoided screaming to avoid waking up their daughter. 'Our daughter,' she said. 'His baby, whom I'd been carrying while he was in bed with another woman. I stood up and started pacing back and forth, fuming, and feeling like I might throw up.' However, the Bravolebrity lost control of her emotions and slapped Davies across the face before throwing a Rubik's cube at him, 'which he dodged.' According to Davies, the woman he cheated with was someone he had known before dating Shay and had recently reconnected with. Shay described not understanding how he cheated on her because he had shared his location with her. However, she found out that he had a second cell phone for his gym business, which became the main communication line between him and the other woman. That same night, Davies handed Shay a letter he had written in 2022 — a year before he confessed — where he revealed how many times he and the woman had slept together and the places they had intercourse. Davies, who has two children from a previous marriage, wrote the letter after 'he realised he was throwing his second chance at a family away by stepping out.' He also 'swore to himself that he would never betray [Shay] again.' 'Once I'd read it, that was more than enough,' Shay continued. 'I told him to immediately toss it into the fire. I never wanted to set eyes on those words again.' Before giving birth to Summer in April 2021, Shay experienced a miscarriage the prior year. The couple, who got engaged in 2021, secretly tied the knot in 2022 before hosting a larger celebration in Mexico the following year. My Good Side, which also touches on Shay's affair with Eddie Cibriani while he was married to Brandi Glanville, is available for purchase on July 22.

Can a reality TV 'villain' change the narrative? Tom Sandoval is trying.

Tom Sandoval looked both nervous and determined as he walked down a backstage hallway. His sequined, emerald-green jacket shimmered as he sipped water, slapped his palms together and shook out his shoulders like a boxer loosening up before a match. Except in this case, the Bravo reality TV veteran was walking out with his musical group to face four celebrity judges on Tuesday's episode of NBC's competition series 'America's Got Talent' and the millions of viewers at home. First, the show had to explain the significance of Sandoval's appearance (beyond the usual NBCUniversal cross-channel synergy). 'Do you know who Tom Sandoval is?' a producer asked judge and series creator Simon Cowell. 'Well, he's left 'Vanderpump Rules,' and he's here to audition with his band.' Or, as Sandoval, 42, elaborated in his own intimate moment with the camera crew: 'A couple of years ago, I made some really bad choices and was involved in a very bad cheating scandal. And I let down a lot of people. It pretty much destroyed my life. … Ever since then, it's like everything that I do is completely criticized.' Two years ago, Sandoval, a star of the popular 'Vanderpump Rules' — which chronicled the staff shenanigans at a restaurant owned by a former Real Housewife — cheated on Ariana Madix, his girlfriend of nine years, with her close friend and fellow cast member Raquel Leviss. The affair controversy exploded into the mainstream news cycle, dubbed 'Scandoval.' Madix leveraged the public sympathy into lucrative brand deals, Broadway and TV hosting gigs. Leviss, after absorbing an onslaught of social-media hate, rebranded herself as a mental health advocate. Sandoval, facing an enormous backlash … went on another reality TV show, 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.' And then another ('The Masked Singer') and another ('The Traitors'). Now he is set to appear, perhaps not surprisingly, on the ultimate VIP lounge for reality TV heels, E!'s 'House of Villains.' In the past, notorious reality TV stars who try to stretch out their fame in the genre might have been tagged with the 'villain' label forever. But Sandoval is trying out a modern strategy: The sheer number of reality shows, each with multiple storylines, offers the opportunity for years-long character development. Perhaps, if you stay in the spotlight long enough to show different sides of yourself, people might just stop caring about what you did in the first place. Sandoval appeared to take another step toward that goal on 'America's Got Talent.' 'I feel a lot of pressure,' he admitted on camera. 'I just hope the audience and the judges see who I am, as a musician, versus just somebody on a reality show.' So Sandoval took the stage with his eight backup musicians after a woman attempting to break a record for butt-Hula-Hooping and before an acrobatic roller-skating duo. Cowell grilled him about why he wanted to make the jump from TV to music. 'With being on a reality show, it's very much about your personal life, and a couple of years ago, I was involved in a scandal, and I was labeled the most hated man in America by the New York Times,' Sandoval explained. 'It was really, really rough, and I was in a very dark place. I felt as though I had nothing in my life, and this band was the only thing that kept me going.' He said his goal was to tour the world with his new group as 'the ultimate cover band.' As Sandoval and his musicians set up, the other judges quickly conferred. 'What was the scandal?' asked a confused Sofia Vergara. 'He slept with his girlfriend's best friend,' Howie Mandel replied. 'No wonder nobody liked him, then,' Spice Girl Mel B added. Cowell sniffed: 'Do you know how not interested I am in any of that stuff?' Cue the music to A-ha's 1980s synth anthem 'Take On Me': Sandoval danced and jumped and hoisted the microphone stand to the heavens. When he hit the high note ('I'll be gone … in a day or twoooooo') Cowell couldn't help but grin as the audience went wild and the judges stood to cheer. 'You made me smile, you gave me happy vibes,' Mel B gushed. Cowell demurred. 'For me, the vocals weren't great, Tom, I'm going to be honest with you,' he said, as boos rained down. 'However, not everyone comes on this show to get a record deal. Sometimes it's about being true to who you are.' Cue the cheers! With four votes for 'yes,' Sandoval and the Most Extras were on to the next round. As the band excitedly retreated backstage, Mel B decided that Sandoval's past shouldn't matter: 'That's real life, that's what happens to some people. … Who cares?' It had to have been music to Sandoval's ears. Gibson Johns, a writer and podcaster ('Gabbing with Gib') on the Bravo beat, has covered the Scandoval aftermath closely. 'Regardless of how you feel about Tom Sandoval, when he does something, he does it 150 percent,' Johns told The Washington Post. On Fox's 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test,' Sandoval let JoJo Siwa literally carry him on her back. On Peacock's 'The Traitors,' Sandoval provided comic relief by singing like a creepy doll. 'There is, unfortunately or fortunately, something kind of …,' Gibson paused. 'It's endearing, that's the word I'm looking for. It's the full effort he puts into everything.' Sandoval also gave it his all in 2023 on Fox's fever dream of a vocal competition 'The Masked Singer,' where he disguised himself as a psychedelic deep-sea diver tangled with a cartoonish octopus and belted Journey's 'Any Way You Want It.' He described the freedom of hiding behind a disguise. 'It hurts when I get judged by people who have never even met me,' he said in a sorrowful introductory clip. 'But I'm hoping all that will melt away when I hit the stage.' So why is he going on the third season of 'House of Villains,' set to air next year, on which reality TV veterans compete to be named 'America's Ultimate Supervillain'? Sandoval did not respond to our request for comment, so we called Season 1 cast member Jon Dalton, a.k.a. 'Jonny Fairplay,' who previously earned his 'villain' card from a 2003 stint on 'Survivor,' when he lied about his grandmother dying to win sympathy and a reward challenge. Unlike Sandoval, Dalton has basked in the hatred. He had a delightful time with his co-stars on 'House of Villains,' where he figured that viewers know enough now to take the tongue-in-cheek title as intended. 'The world of reality TV has changed so much,' he said. '… I can't imagine anyone doing that show and leaving with a worse reputation.' Ultimately, he understands why a perhaps conflicted Sandoval would nonetheless choose to join the cast and compete for the villain title. If you want to continue to be on TV … well, you have to continue to be on TV. 'You always strike while the iron is hot,' Dalton said.

Tom Sandoval's Really Trying to Make His Music Career Happen With ‘America's Got Talent' Audition

Tom Sandoval is showing off his vocal skills on TV once again — this time with his band The Most Extras. The former Vanderpump Rules star — who recently boasted about his musical abilities on season three of Peacock's The Traitors (see the episode featuring the creepy singing dolls) — is set to appear on the Tuesday (June 24) episode of NBC's America's Got Talent, and the network has released an early look at the group's audition. 'Couple years ago, I made some really bad choices and was involved in a very bad cheating scandal, and I let down a lot of people. It pretty much destroyed my life. It was absurd how much coverage and how big it became,' the reality TV star shared in his intro, referencing 'Scandoval,' which broke in May 2023. Sandoval had been caught by Ariana Madix, his then girlfriend of nearly 10 years, cheating with one of her closest friends and their VPR castmate Raquel (now Rachel) Leviss. 'It was really, really rough, and I was in a very, very dark place. I felt as though I had nothing in my life, and this band was the only thing that kept me going,' he said of the aftermath, as best friend and VPR star Tom Schwartz, along with Sandoval's girlfriend, Victoria, cheered him on from the audience. 'I would love … to be just, like, the ultimate cover band.' As Tom Sandoval and The Most Extras prepared to begin their performance, the judges chatted amongst themselves, with Howie Mandel explaining to Sofia Vergara who Sandoval was. 'He slept with his girlfriend's best friend,' he told her, with Mel B chiming in, 'No wonder nobody likes him, then!' To that, the acerbic Cowell declared, 'Do you know how NOT interested I am in any of that stuff?' And with that, Sandoval — in one of his signature sequined jackets (though not with the matching green pants Madix once advised him not to wear, nor the white manicure or 'worm' of a mustache that made him the butt of many jokes) — took the stage with his band to deliver their cover of a-ha's Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 'Take on Me.' Though the now-broken penis flute did not make an appearance, Sandoval did show off some moves that fans of VPR who've seen him perform with The Most Extras on and off the Bravo hit. Tom Sandoval tries to rehabilitate his image as 'most hated man' in U.S. with America's Got Talent audition

Tom Sandoval surprised fans as he auditioned for America's Got Talent after bidding farewell to Vanderpump Rules. In a clip promoting the episode, which will air on June 24, the reality TV star said: 'My name is Tom Sandoval, I was the most hated man in America. This is the chance to show who I am as a musician.' He was referencing the so-called Scandoval drama that unfolded on season 10 and 11 of Vanderpump Rules when Tom cheated on his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix with friend Raquel Leviss. Judge Simon Cowell quipped: 'I think I know who you are.' Tom then sang a cover of the 1980s song Take On Me by A-ha. Simon and his co-judges Sofia Vergara and former Spice Girl Mel B were all shocked to see Tom take the stage.

‘Vanderpump Rules' Star Tom Sandoval Impresses ‘AGT' Judges With Surprise Audition Tape

Tom Sandoval has got skills — or, at least, that's what he's trying to prove on America's Got Talent. In a preview for the show's Tuesday, June 24, episode shared on Friday, June 20, Sandoval, 42, tells judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Mel B and Howie Mandel he's auditioning for the show because he's out of options. 'My name is Tom Sandoval, I was the most hated man in America,' Sandoval said in a clip shared via Instagram, referencing the so-called 'Scandoval' drama that unfolded on season 10 and 11 of Vanderpump Rules after Tom cheated on his then-girlfriend Ariana Madix with friend Raquel Leviss. 'This is the chance to show who I am as a musician.' He then launched into a cover of the 1980s song 'Take On Me' while cavorting onstage in a bedazzled green jacket and black pants. Ariana Madix Makes Subtle Jab at Tom Sandoval After Being Sued Over Explicit Rachel Leviss Videos Initially, judges weren't quite sure what to make of Sandoval. Cowell was seen grimacing at the beginning of the performance before cracking a smile, while Vergara seemed to doubt Sandoval's singing abilities. While Sandoval and the rest of the original cast of Vanderpump Rules will not be returning — in November, Bravo announced an entirely new cast will return for season 12 – Sandoval has not left reality TV behind. In May, Sandoval was announced as part of the cast of season 3 of House of Villains. He will be joined by Below Deck alum Kate Chastain, season 1 and 2 cast member Tiffany Pollard and Selling Sunset's Christine Quinn, as well as by Big Brother's Paul Abrahamian, Survivor's Tyson Apostol, Basketball Wives' Jackie Christie, Mob Wives' Drita D'Avanzo, RuPaul's Drag Race's Plane Jane, Love Island's Johnny Middlebrooks and The Challenge's Ashley Mitchell. Sandoval has yet to escape the full shadow that followed the revelation he had cheated on Ariana. In May, Madix said the pair still have not sold the home they bought together. 'You and Tom agreed to sell your shared home, what's the latest news?' Andy Cohen asked the Love Island USA host at the time, to which she responded, 'That is ongoing but hopefully wrapping up soon.' Tom Sandoval Thinks It's Time to 'Move On' from Scandoval: Did 'The Traitors' Kickstart His Redemption Era? The update came six months after Sandoval said he had agreed to sell the home after Madix took legal action in January 2024. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly last year, Madix alleged there was 'discord' between Sandoval and herself, who are co-owners of the house. Sandoval had pushed to receive full ownership before agreeing to put the home on the market. Cohen asked Madix during her WWHL appearance whether she and Sandoval are 'cohabitating' as they continue to find a buyer, with Madix explaining that she now has her own separate house while Sandoval still 'lives there.' Us also confirmed in March 2024 that Madix bought a $1.6 million house that month.
