Tabletoppers in Division One of the Meath Football League, Ratoath, suffered their first defeat of the campaign when going under to Wolfe Tones 2-19 to 1-12 in a Round Six tie at Gibbstown on Saturday.
It leaves Paul Galvin's side now sharing top spot alongside Dunboyne, and Dunshaughlin who are now the only unbeaten team in the top tier. Feis Cup winners Tones are also firmly in contention following this victory and they recovered from a slow start to wipe out Ratoath's three point lead and be in front at half-time, 1-6 to 0-6.
