Gadkari Pledges Rs1 Crore for E-Library from MP Funds

Nagpur: In a welcome move, city MP and Union Minister
Nitin Gadkari
made an impromptu announcement of sanctioning Rs1 crore for an e-library at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar School of Law on Saturday.
Gadkari asked Director Ravishankar Mor if the institute plans to set up the new library in the existing building.
He was told that a new multi-storeyed state-of-the-art building is planned and the funds would be utilised for building the e-library there.
The provision has been made under innovative and development activity in the MP fund. Gadkari himself is an alumnus of the college, now known as the School of Law.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice of India Bhushan Gavai felicitated distinguished alumni, including Gadkari, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, minister of state for law and justice Adv Ashish Jaiswal, Administrative Justice of the Nagpur Bench of the High Court Nitin Sambre, Senior Justice of the Nagpur Bench Anil Kilor, and justices of the Bombay High Court GS Kulkarni, Bharti Dangre, YG Khobragade, Vrishali Joshi, MS Jawalkar, Nitin Borkar, RN Laddha, and AN Pansare.
