Sheetal Maulik steps into Khalida Jan's shoes in Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shahad Shahad

Sheetal Maulik and Khalida Jan After Meri Bhavya Life, Sheetal Maulik, best known as Sonali Chavan in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, is set to take on a new role. However, this time, it is in an ongoing show where she will be replacing another actress. Sheetal has taken over from Khalida Jan to portray the character of Ambika in Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shahad Shahad. While Sheetal remained unavailable for comment, Khalida confirmed her exit and said, 'Yes, I am no longer a part of Kabhi Neem Neem Kabhi Shahad Shahad. I shot my last episode on July 10. Everything happened overnight, and I was informed that things were not working out creatively and that a replacement had been finalised. I didn't have a choice in the matter and wrapped up my shoot.' The actress, known for her work in shows like Razia Sultan, Mehndi Wala Ghar, Ishq Mein Marjawan 2, and the web series Tanaav, revealed that this was her first experience of this kind. She shared, 'I have been part of many projects, but this was the first time something like this happened to me. I gave five months to the show but ended up shooting for only 25 days. The makers had initially blocked 20 days a month for me, but ultimately used only 25 days in total and an additional three days for promo shoots. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Shortness of Breath? I invested a significant amount of time that went unutilised, which has left me in a financially vulnerable position. It feels a bit unfair and extremely disappointing. But at the end of the day, it is the decision of the production house and the channel, and as an actor, one has to accept it.' Addressing rumours that she was replaced due to performance issues, she responded, 'If that were the case, they could have told me earlier. Performance is something that can be worked on.' She concluded, 'I will now have to start looking for a new project. All an artiste really wants is visibility and financial stability. I hope to find that in my next opportunity.'

Exclusive - Pankhuri Awasthy on her impactful cameo in Dhakad Beera; says 'This show is actually a sort of comeback for me after delivering my twins'

Pankhuri Awasthy Rode, known for her strong performances in shows like Razia Sultan, Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Maddam Sir and Gud Se Meetha Ishq, is now seen in a special cameo in the upcoming show Dhakad Beera, which goes on air from 24th July. The trailer of the show has already made a strong impact, and Pankhuri's appearance has caught everyone's attention for its emotional intensity. Pankhuri says, 'This may be a cameo, but it's one of the most emotional roles I've done after Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka. The moment I heard the scenes, I felt something deep inside. I knew it was going to stay with me. Especially the fact that I was playing a mother after becoming one myself really connected with me. There was pain, helplessness, silence, and strength all in one… so much to express and perform, which is what made it more powerful for me. ' She shares, 'There are such emotional scenes that I had tears in my eyes while just reading them on paper…' Adding further, she says, 'This show is actually a sort of comeback for me after delivering my twins. Figuring out how to balance my work and my babies was something I was very skeptical about—and a powerful cameo seemed like the right way to test the waters and return to what I love most: acting.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like An engineer reveals: One simple trick to get internet without a subscription Techno Mag Learn More Undo Even though her role in Dhakad Beera is brief, her performance leaves a deep impact. Fans have already begun talking about her emotional presence and expressive depth. She shares, 'Another aspect that truly drew me to this show was its strong social relevance. It sheds light on pressing issues that still exist in certain parts of our country—even today, many people are not free to live their lives on their own terms. The storyline is rooted in the harsh reality of honour killings, and beyond its emotional and narrative depth, I was deeply moved by the intention behind it. As an actor, I feel incredibly fulfilled when I'm part of projects that aim to create awareness, spark conversations, or bring about change in society. Even if the story manages to touch just one heart or change one mindset, it means the show has done its job. I truly believe we, as artists, have the power to influence thought and inspire change—and being part of something with that kind of impact is what makes me feel most connected to my craft.' She concludes, 'Every second I was on screen, I gave it my full heart. I'm truly glad I got to be a part of this story, and I hope it touches the audience's heart as well.' The historical site remains mysterious because of a curse Nizamuddin Auliya bestowed on it as a Sufi saint. Local folklore states that Ghiyas-ud-din ordered his workforce working on the fort to stop their building efforts at the saint's baoli (stepwell). Today you can find only ruins across most parts of the city but stories continue to exist about its original establishment. A popular legend tells that the palace complex featured an everlasting fire which served as a symbol of divine and prosperous protection. A hidden flame extinction brought bad omens for the fate of Tughlaq's empire according to Delhi residents. Although modern scholars challenge the accuracy of the narrative about an eternal fire in Delhi, people strongly believe in its message of stability through continuous change.
