Are Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson Dating?
Let's be real—every summer since Megan Thee Stallion's debut on the music scene has officially been Hot Girl Summer. And according to speculation across the web, things are possibly heating up this summer between Meg and NBA player Klay Thompson.
How have fans jumped to this conclusion, you ask? When the 'Realer' rapper posted a steamy Instagram photo dump promoting her Hot Girl Summer swimwear line at Walmart, eagle-eyed scrollers noticed a guy lounging in the back of one of her they're convinced that it's the Dallas Mavericks athlete.
'Wait, is that Klay just casually chilling?😂😂' one person commented under her post, while another was much more blunt in their assumption on social media, saying, 'MEGAN IS DATING KLAY THOMPSON???!'
Others weren't as convinced that the stars could be a couple. 'That's the Klay clone from eBay,' someone added. Someone else shared a theory tied to the athlete's build, writing, 'Now that I look, Klay doesn't skip leg day and this dude has twigs.'
Before this maybe-romance, the 'Savage' artist was most recently linked to another NBA star, Torrey Craig. The two hard-launched their relationship back in August 2024 with a 'couples challenge' TikTok, but things have seemingly fizzled out since then.
As for Klay's dating history, he had a high-profile romance with Laura Harrier from 2018 to 2020 and was reportedly linked to Coco Jones from 2021 to 2023.
Neither Meg nor Klay has commented on their relationship status, but we're staying tuned to see if this was really a soft-launch.
