Man, 38, dies after motorbike crash in borough village last night
A 38-year-old man has died following a motorbike crash in a borough village last night.
The incident happened at around 9.45pm on Tuesday (August 11) on Red Rock Lane in Stoneclough.
The man was found unconscious, with serious injuries and taken to hospital, bu he later died.
Officers said that they don't believe any other vehicles were involved and are investigating the circumstances further.
They added that the man's family are being supported by specialist officers.
Police are asking for anyone who might have witnessed the incident, has dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: "Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is appealing for information after a man died in Bolton.
"It is believed the 38-year-old man was riding a motorbike/electric bike on Red Rock Lane, Stoneclough, at about 9.45pm on Monday.
"He was found unconscious with serious injuries and taken to hospital but sadly later died – his family are being supported by specialist officers.
"It is not believed any other vehicles were involved.
"Our officers are now investigating and want to establish the circumstances that led up to the fatal incident.
