Ree Drummond's Grandma Moves for Sofia Are Pure Joy to Watch!

You'd never know Ree Drummond is a first-time grandmother based on the way she is absolutely excelling at grandbaby duties! Ree has been outspoken about the uncertainties regarding becoming a grandparent since her eldest daughter Alex announced her pregnancy, but it's clear that The Pioneer Woman (endearingly called ReeRee in her new role) is already beyond loved by five-month-old granddaughter Sofia. Keep reading to see the adorable (and hilarious) video of Ree getting silly to entertain Sofia on their walk! In a new Instagram post, Ree can be seen dancing and skipping down the road while walking and pushing Sofia in her stroller as the song 'We're Off to See The Wizard' plays in the background, doing everything she can to keep the baby girl happy. 'Entertaining Sofia during her fussy pre-bedtime walk last night,' Ree captioned her video. 'We parents and grandparents do what must be done.' She also asked viewers to ignore the interruption of the family Basset Hound dogs, as they had to follow Ree and Sofia and investigate all of the smells along the ranch road (Alex's golden retriever George could also be seen joining the fun!) Later on, Alex shared her own point-of-view with a video shared to her Instagram stories (which you can see in this The Pioneer Woman blog post). The close-up of Sofia reveals that Ree's attempts were fruitful, as the baby sweetly laughed at her antics. 'ReeRee is so funny!!,' Alex captioned the video, where Ree can also be seen using a baseball cap to tap Sofia's tiny feet. 'She didn't want to hold the hat, she wanted me to pat her feet with the hat,' Ree chimed while re-sharing Alex's post. Ree is always sure to share moments captured when she visits with Sofia, and most recently, the family was all together to celebrate the wedding of Paige Drummond at the ranch. In her The Pioneer Woman recap of Paige marrying David Andersen, Ree included an adorable snap of Sofia with her parents outside on the sprawling Drummond ranch grounds. 'Alex and Mauricio got married in this spot four years ago,' she captioned the photo. 'And look at precious Sofia.' And, in an Instagram post where Ree shared some of her favorite pictures from the day, Sofia of course made multiple appearances. These special moments included Paige holding Sofia and kissing her on the cheek, and Sofia being carried down the aisle by her dad, Mauricio Scott, during the ceremony. Ree also shared photos of herself and husband Ladd Drummond holding Sofia during the wedding (complete with a zoom-in on Sofia's face), with the caption 'Our little pookie princess.' 'Pioneer Woman' Ree Drummond Reveals 'Dumb' Baking Hack for 'Delicious' Cookies

just shared her go-to baking hack for making super special and "delicious" cookies to honor a recent graduate, but honestly, this trick is a game-changer for all birthdays and celebrations going forward. Over the weekend, The Pioneer Woman uploaded a video of herself baking several batches of her favorite chocolate chip recipe–just without any chocolate chips, and no, she wasn't going for the chipless chocolate chip cookie, either. Instead of chocolate chips, she suggested using your preferred cookie recipe as a base and taking "your kid's favorite cereal and candy" and stirring it into the mix, similar to a Kitchen Sink Cookie, without caramel or toffee (unless you want it). In the video, the Food Network personality appeared to be using a combination of Cap'n Crunch cereal, broken pretzel pieces, chopped dark chocolate, mini peanut butter cups and M&M's. Related: Once the cookies are cool, Ree said to "ice them with chocolate or vanilla frosting (whatever your graduate likes,) then sprinkle more of everything on top." Though the cookbook author admits the hack is "kinda dumb," she also promises it's a "fun" and "delicious" ode to whoever you're celebrating. "Might as well send 'em into their future happy!!!" she quipped. Fans agreed, with one top-liked comment cheering, "this looks amazing! What a fun idea!🤤." "This looks so yummy 😍," a second gushed. "I've done this with Halloween candy," another admitted. "It's a great way to use it up. 🙌🏻." As for Ree's exact cookie recipe, she said fans can recreate it by following the instructions laid out in her "Totally Terrific Cookies for Todd." Next:

Ree Drummond and Husband Preview Daughter Paige's Wedding Venue: 'Our Second Baby Is Getting Married'

Ree Drummond's daughter Paige is getting married on Saturday, May 17 Paige and fiancé David Andersen will tie the knot on the family's Pawhuska, Okla., ranch In an Instagram Stories post, Ree wrote, "Our second baby is getting married here in 2 days"Ree Drummond and her husband Ladd are getting ready for their daughter's big day. Paige Drummond, 25, is set to tie the knot with fiancé David Andersen on Saturday, May 17, and the Pioneer Woman star gave a glimpse of the venue: the family's Pawhuska, Okla., ranch. The proud parents smiled as they stood amid the lush grass, with Ladd sporting a cowboy hat. 'Our second baby is getting married here in 2 days,' Ree wrote over the image on her Instagram Stories, tagging Paige's account. Last week, Ree shared another photo of Paige preparing for her upcoming nuptials. The University of Arkansas alum, who returned to work on the ranch 'full time,' was seen repairing a wire fence in the shot. The Food Network star wrote, 'Getting married in nine days. Fixing a cattle guard today. Love you, Paige!! 🔧🐮💍👰‍♀️' 'The cows don't stop for anything!' Paige commented on the post. Paige is the oldest child of Ree and Ladd, who are also parents to Alex, 27, Bryce, 22, Jamar, 22, and Todd, 20. They became grandparents in December when Alex and her husband, Mauricio Scott, welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sofia. In April, Ree opened up about her excitement for the wedding in an Instagram post featuring a photo of the soon-to-be bride and groom. 'We're getting to the stage where we're finalizing the ceremony program, figuring out the seating chart, coordinating transportation … and pulling up Accuweather about six times a day to see how the wedding day forecast has changed. 😅😅😅,' she wrote in the caption. Ree went on to express four concerns about the much-anticipated celebration. 'Will we have 40 mph wind gusts or a perfect still evening? Will we have hail? Will Ladd keep the cattle (and manure and flies) out of the South Big South until after the wedding? Will the basset hounds hear the commotion and crash Paige's wedding like they did Alex's?' she questioned. However, she added that she wasn't too worried and was focusing on what's important. 'Only time will tell. So for now, I'll just say I'm SO excited for Paige. She loves her fella and she can't wait to marry him, and that's all this mama really needs to know,' she concluded the post. Ree Drummond Shares Update on Daughter Paige's Wedding at Drummond Ranch: ‘2 Days'

Ree Drummond and her husband, Ladd Drummond, are gearing up for the wedding of their second-born daughter, Paige Drummond, and her soon-to-be husband, David Andersen. The Pioneer Woman star shared an update on the celebration just days before it is set to take place. 'Our second baby is getting married here in 2 days,' Ree, 56, wrote alongside a photo of her and Ladd, 56, shared to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 15. Last month, Ree shared a photo of Paige, 25, and David on her Instagram, revealing that the wedding planning was in full swing. 'We're getting to the stage where we're finalizing the ceremony program, figuring out the seating chart, coordinating transportation…and pulling up Accuweather about six times a day to see how the wedding day forecast has changed,' the April 23 post said. 'Will we have 40 mph wind gusts or a perfect still evening? Will we have hail? Will Ladd keep the cattle (and manure and flies) out of the South Big South until after the wedding? Will the basset hounds hear the commotion and crash Paige's wedding like they did Alex's? Only time will tell. So for now, I'll just say I'm SO excited for Paige. She loves her fella and she can't wait to marry him, and that's all this mama really needs to know.' The month prior, Ree shared on her Pioneer Woman blog that Paige and David had a couples wedding shower to celebrate their soon-approaching wedding. 'This past weekend, Paige and David (and lots of friends and family!) were in town for a party and a shower, and now that the weekend is over, I feel hungover — not from alcoholic beverages, but from the sheer love and romance of it all,' the Food Network personality shared along with photos from the event. 'I'm starting to get so excited about the wedding! At the same time, I'm glad the wedding is still two months away, haha. I've gotta get on that rowing machine, man. I know Paige has a few details going on, but at this point my main goal is to be able to zip my dress. Kidding not kidding.' Ree has been excited to be a part of the wedding planning process from the start. The cookbook author revealed back in September 2024 that she went with Paige to go wedding dress shopping. Paige ended up trying on 40 dresses total at different bridal salons before finding The One. 'My second child wound up finding the dress of her dreams. I can't show you the dress right now for obvious reasons, and in order to preserve the wedding dress magic, I'm also not sharing the forty she tried on,' she wrote on her blog at the time. 'But I PROMISE you that the week after the wedding next May, I will post a gallery of every single contender. It was such a fun fashion show and I would love to dig into all the options and details and share what I learned. For now, I'm just so thrilled for Paige that she found a dress that she absolutely loves and that she feels is right for her. That's the whole point! (Maybe David's mom and I will take you all shopping with us as we shop for our mother-of-the-bride/groom dresses. We'll definitely need some champagne for that!!)'
