No injuries in Pasqua Street house fire
Regina Fire says no one was hurt in a house fire on Pasqua Street Thursday night. Crews were called to the home on the 4600 block of Pasqua Street shortly after 10 p.m. The fire was contained to the kitchen on the home's main floor, a social media post from Regina Fire said. All searches of the home have been completed and the fire is now under investigation.

Early morning explosion at Regina's Co-Op refinery rocks homes, rattles nerves
People living in Regina's north end were awoken early this morning by an explosion at Regina's Consumers' Cooperative Refinery main plant that shook homes as far as two kilometres away. The explosion happened at about 4:45 a.m. CST Tuesday near gate number three on 9th Ave. N near McDonald Street. Emergency alarm horns were activated and could be heard across the north end of the city for more than 15 minutes. There's no word yet on what caused the blast, but a fire was still burning at six a.m CST. A spokesperson for the Regina Fire Department says they were called in to assist the refinery's firefighters and that no structures were involved in the explosion. The Regina fire department says after the initial explosion crews were burning off extra product in the lines, but no high pressure lines were involved in the fire. As of six a.m. CST there were no injuries reported in the blast.
